The Young and the Restless spoilers for January 11-15, 2021, tease a fact-finding mission, a tense reunion between estranged mother and daughter, and so much more.
Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) make their way to Los Angeles on a two-prong mission, First, they plan to solidify a bond with Spencer Publications in aid of promoting, and franchising the JCV brand. Second, they plan to get as much dirt as possible on recent Genoa City arrival, and SoCal transplant, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Summer suitably impresses publishing magnate Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), but his son, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) is unnerved by her prying questions about Sally, the ex-girlfriend he would really rather forget.
Wyatt’s reaction further fuels Summer’s desire for intel, and she tries once again to pump the exec for information. Their conversation is overheard by Wyatt’s newest squeeze, Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden), who’s less inclined than Wyatt to keep quiet about Sally’s less-than-sterling reputation.
A frustrated Amanda (Mishael Morgan) turns up on her biological mother’s doorstep and demands answers to her questions. When Naya denies having given birth to a set of twins, Amanda becomes resolute in her decision to stand on the woman’s porch until the truth is outed. With her back against the wall, Naya relents and gives Amanda a very painful history lesson.
In other Genoa City news, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) worries about the tension between Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nicholas (Joshua Morrow), while he, in turn, encourages Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to fight back against his sister’s overt tactics. Nick is also forced to join forces with Sharon (Sharon Chase) and confront the trouble with Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) head-on.
Meanwhile, Nate (Sean Dominic) takes Lily (Christel Khalil) aside and warns her to be wary of Billy (Jason Thompson)…and it appears that the good doc knows what he’s talking about. The Abbott scion soon finds himself embroiled in yet another fiasco, and after Lily gets wind of her lover’s latest stunt, she goes after him with both barrels.
Finally, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) gets pushed too far, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) gets encouraged to revisit his dark side, and Chance (Donny Boaz) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) make plans for their future. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
