The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, April 13, 2020, promise a day of romance (and some interesting tidbits) when Amanda and Nate take over the screen on their first date.
It’s an evening to remember when Nate (Sean Dominic) and Amanda (Mishael Morgan) step out for a night on the town. Expect a lot of flirting, some serious heat, and a few eyebrow-raising facts about Amanda’s mysterious past.
The legal eagle may be a firecracker with her work but fully admits romance is not her strong suit. In fact, she needed a push from Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to say yes to her little blue dress and make a play for the handsome doc. Don’t worry, Nate confesses, he needed a push too.
They hit up society for some good food and fun chatter. Amanda will get an inside look at Nate’s past and completely understand why he became a doctor. He did come by his interest in the medical field honestly – his mother is quite the physician.
It comes as no surprise Amanda has quite a different upbringing. She’s talked about being a foster child but reveals she was given up right at birth. Amanda does not know much about her biological history but remembers what it was like to grow up with no one on her side.

Thankfully, Amanda now has a home in Genoa City. She has a place to fit in, a few good friends, and a budding romance with a hot doc. Things are looking up, especially after the two share a sweet kiss.
So, what does Amanda’s history really mean? Could it be Rose had twins and had to give one away? It wouldn’t be surprising with Rose’s spotty history. She struggled with alcoholism most of Hilary’s life so maybe two children were too much for her to handle.
How will Amanda feel if she finds out there’s a good reason she looks and sounds just like Devon’s ex-wife? And, will her being Hil’s twin nix any romance she could have in the future with Devon? Time will tell as this storyline plays out. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
