The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Amanda Makes A Stunning Discovery

Amanda (Mishael Morgan) feels awfully bad for Devon (Bryton James) — and anger towards Nate (Sean Dominic) and Elena (Brytni Sarpy) for hurting both her and Devon — so she offers Devon a listening ear for any time he wants to vent. She’s not quite sure about going to New York City with him, but when Devon asks for that ear right then and there, she’s ready.

The pair heads off to Society on what seems like a first date. They discuss Elena, Hilary (of course), and even what they might do in New York. It’s a friendly and easy conversation and Devon seems to be taking Elena’s betrayal in stride. (After all, he has Hilary’s face right there where he can maybe pretend he’s in another time and place.)

However, Devon might find himself sucked down a brand-new rabbit hole when he takes Amanda back to her hotel room. (At least Elena found an apartment to live in. She’s going to be roomies with Lonely Lola. Still, much of GC like living in hotels.)

When they get there, Amanda already has a report from the private investigator she hired to learn more about where she really came from. That’s when she’s in for a shock. The PI was able to track down a woman named Nadine who was a neighbor of Rose around the time Hilary and Amanda would have been born.

Well, Nadine remembers Rose well. She also remembers her never being pregnant, but one day out of nowhere showing off a baby girl she said was hers. Soap Hub predicted this a few weeks ago. Is the show trying to tell us that Rose was NOT Hilary and Amanda’s biological mother? It sure looks that way. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
