The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, November 16, 2020, reveal Abby and Chance going full speed ahead with their wedding plans… or are they? Plus, Amanda may be able to give Billy something Lily can’t. Will it be a deal-breaker?
The first thing Chance (Donny Boaz) did when he opened his eyes post-fever coma was to urge Abby (Melissa Ordway) to plan their wedding as soon as possible.
Abby had just spent the day asking Mariah (Camryn Grimes) to be her maid of honor and Devon (Bryton James) to get ordained so he could perform the ceremony (ala the late, great Katherine). So it would seem like she’d be raring to go. So why doesn’t it seem like she’s raring to go? Is it those old can I stand to be married to a guy who could get shot and killed at any moment woes?
Meanwhile, Victor (Eric Braeden) comes to see Chance in the hospital to ask about the young man’s intentions towards his daughter. Surely, Chance will want to ask Victor’s permission to marry Abby. Nah, Chance is good. Like in Fiddler on the Roof, he doesn’t need Papa’s permission. His blessing would be nice. But not mandatory.
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) has noticed the flirtatious spark between Billy (Jason Thompson) and Lily (Christel Khalil). She questions her boss about the new development. Does Amanda still have residual feelings for the guy who was, once upon a time, her only friend?
The competition may be moot, however, when Billy reveals that he soon might be in dire need of a lawyer. (Is it libel or attempted homicide?) In that case, it’s no contest. He needs Amanda a heck of a lot more than he needs Lily. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
