The Young and the Restless spoilers breakdown for Monday, July 30 features the aftermath of Hilary’s death. Her friends will wake up to the news of her passing and lives will ever be the same.
A Heartbreaking Loss
Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) death hits everyone hard but not as much as Devon, Jack, Phyllis, Mariah, and Shauna.
They mourn their friend and mentor in a deep way and struggle to move through their day. Word travels fast and soon their loved ones wills surround them and offer much needed support.
Spoilers reveal Devon (Bryton James) throws himself into work, despite Neil’s (Kristoff St. Johns) efforts to slow him down.
He just lost his wife and Neil worries Devon will work himself sick. However, insists on distracting himself from his misery. He won’t even want to watch GC Buzz to watch Mariah deliver a heartfelt goodbye.
Devon does make sure Shauna (Camryn Grimes) knows she still had a home before he rushes away. While it puts her mind at ease, it doesn’t heal her heart.
A Loving Tribute
It’s be a show Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will never forget. Taking her regular seat beside Hilary’s chair, she delivers a final goodbye to her co-host. Through tears, she shares memories of her friend – the good, the bad, and a bit of the ugly, just how Hilary would want.
A Shocking Return
In a twist that perks Mariah up, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is waiting for her off set. She’s still leaving for now but promises it won’t be for good.
She loves Mariah and isn’t ready to give up what they have. She’s going to get her sister’s sorted, then rush back …continue reading on the next page —>

Bad Blood Runs Deep
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) share a sweet moment – but only a moment. Their embrace is interrupted by Nick (Jason Thompson), who demands to speak to Phyllis alone. Billy doesn’t take lightly to Nick being around and their feud gets ugly fast.
Thankfully, Jack (Peter Bergman) steps in and breaks up the argument before it goes any further. He and Billy squabble, which results in Nick putting his foot down with Jack. They need to leave these vendettas behind them if they want Dark Horse to succeed.
Underlying Passion?
Afterwards, Jack and Phyllis visit the club to raise a glass in Hilary’s honor. Their shared grief over losing their friend brings them closer (maybe even too close). Something is bubbling under the surface and could their grief could turn into something more.
Hot Temptation
Summer (Hunter King) also gets flirty. She’s on the prowl at the office and the second Billy enters she was ready to attack.
She’s single, he’s single, and there’s no reason to not try each other out. Billy does his best to keep his wits about him but it becomes harder and harder to keep his hands to himself.
