The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Thursday, May 23 promise a day of harsh realities, devious schemes, and fantasies gone wild!
Traci (Beth Maitland) has her hands full in the coming days. Her crush on Cane (Daniel Goddard) is growing by the minute. Every word she writes makes the newly single man all the more intriguing.
However, her fantasy life will have to wait. The Abbott siblings have much more pressing matters ahead. Poor Dina (Marla Adams) suffers a horrifying setback.
The episode is so bad Jack (Peter Bergman) calls Ashley home. The time has come to put Dina in a care facility.
Cane also has a big day of his own. He starts his new job as an employment consultant. For the first time in a long time, Cane will feel the pride of giving back.
Jack also has some drama of his own coming up. He’s heading to the hospital to see his old bestie. He has a warning for Adam (Mark Grossman).
This is his friend’s second (err, third) chance and he wants him to make the most of it. Which means, steering clear of dear, old daddy.
Watch for Adam to make a clever and bold move of his own. He will get Nate’s okay to go home but alas, Adam has no clothes. Instead of waiting for Victor or Sharon to bring him more he asks to borrow a pair of scrubs.

Scrubs? But why? Did Adam find out about Victor’s secret tests and have to change some results? Of course, it could be all innocent — but probably not. He also sends a series of texts cutting all contact with his Vegas friend.
Meanwhile, Abby (Melissa Ordway) finds herself bonding with Nate (Sean Dominic). He stops by Society at exactly the right time and finds her in quite a state. The stress of Adam’s return and Arturo’s departure has her blood boiling.
Their friendship will blossom in a big way when Abby invites HIM out for dinner. Talk about a twist! Nate snatches up the offer. He’s quite smitten with the heiress and ready to see how things go.
