By examining my crystal ball, laying out the cards, and reading the tea leaves, I plan to predict what’s coming up for Mamie (Veronica Redd). But I make no promises because let’s face it – it’s not an exact science (and I’m not really that…talented). Okay, Let’s take a plunge into the unknown.
Young and the Restless: Near Future
The crystal ball shows that Jill (Jess Walton) is desperate to dig up more dirt on Mamie. Clearly, her long-held grudge against the Abbott family’s loyal maid and top rival for John Abbott’s affections has not faded over the years. Jill will stop at nothing to topple her rival. The question is, how far will Mamie go? Is she in it to win it? Let’s see what the cards have to say.
Y&R Spoilers: The Big Picture
Mamie pulled the High Priestess card, which signifies intuition and mystery. Tucker (Trevor St. John) has proven that he is a man who cannot be trusted. But the mogul has made Mamie an offer she can’t refuse and the means to get it. The wise matriarch is no pushover. Perhaps she trusts her own instincts more than anything Tucker can dish out.
The savvy woman has witnessed all the game-playing and power struggles over the years. Mamie knows all the players and how they operate. Chances are that she has the confidence to handle anything Jill might have planned for her. The real question is if she is armed with all the information that she needs to do battle. Tucker is a shady character and may not have been entirely forthcoming about his overall plan and Mamie’s part in it.
The card warns of concealed facts. Mamie needs to rely on her strong intuition and experience to see through any holes in the plan. It seems Mamie is on the brink of a new life experience if she ignores all the naysayers and stays focused on her needs and the needs of her family. She may just right the wrongs of the past and find herself in a powerful position moving forward.
Further Into Mamie Johnson’s Future
In reading these tea leaves, I, Sybil the Psychic, spy an anchor, which indicates success. Regardless of the petty feuds in her peppered past, Mamie has earned good Karma and will come out on top, leaving her enemies in the dust. Sybil says, “It is time to thrive!”
