The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, September 22 reunite Traci and her onetime muse, Cane, while Tessa can’t keep her feelings to herself anymore and turns to Daniel.
Traci and Cane Reconnect
Back when Cane (Billy Flynn) was just your average, run-of-the-mill reformed con artist, he struck up a friendship with Traci (Beth Maitland). She found him so inspiring that she based a character in her novel on him. A dashing, romantic, charming character.
Did Traci fall a little bit in love with the man married to her late daughter’s best friend? Yeah, Traci kind of did. But that was before. That was the old Cane. Now that she’s face-to-face with the new Cane, will she have the same (inexplicable) reaction to him now being a mover and shaker? Or will she find him even more dashing, romantic, and charming? He’s a single man now. And pretty much everyone in Genoa City hates him. He could use a friend. And maybe more?
Tessa Needs Daniel to Know
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) begged Daniel to be a good friend to Tessa (Cait Faribanks). Daniel promised he would be. So when Tessa comes to him with a confession, he has no choice but to listen. Will Tessa tell him something he doesn’t want to hear… or something that he absolutely shouldn’t know?
If Daniel is to do Mariah’s bidding, that shouldn’t matter. He will protect Tessa. Mariah will protect Tessa. It sure would be nice if we viewers knew from what, though.
The Billy That Roared
Billy (Jason Thompson) wants Cane’s secret weapon to bring down Victor (Eric Braeden). Cane doesn’t trust Billy not to do something stupid (neither do we). So Billy has moved into tantrum mode. He is threatening everyone who dares to point out that he is acting irrationally. And he’s just doubling down, no matter what.
