The Young and the Restless spoilers for March 23-27, 2020, reveal a pair of former spouses circling one another, a betrayed girlfriend unwilling to accept her partner’s apology, and more.
Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) continue their “will they or won’t they” dance and the exercise proves both exhilarating and satisfying.
When Red pays her ex-husband and current lover a mid-afternoon visit at Newman, he’s sure that she is there to discuss the status of their relationship but she shuts him down. Hard!
Instead, Phyllis claims to be there strictly to present him a partnership opportunity with The Grand Phoenix, and Nick is sorely disappointed. Phyllis, however, is pleased to see that she has gotten under her ex’s skin.
So, what will happen with them now that they have nobody else and even Summer has figured out they are together?
In the aftermath of her public humiliation, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) makes one last-ditch effort to convince Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) of her sincere regret – but acceptance of her apology is not forthcoming.
It looks like Mariah really stepped in it this time and there may be no way out of the mess she created for herself. At least she vows never to give up.

In other Genoa City news, Adam (Mark Grossman) investigates Victor’s (Eric Braeden) past which could possibly explain the impetus for the mystery trip on which Victor embarks. Spoilers warn that by week’s end, Victor will see his youngest’s true colors — not that he hasn’t seen them before!
Meanwhile, Devon (Bryton James) and Amanda (Mishael Morgan) find common ground – no doubt over their childhoods in the foster care system, – and the latter takes a big risk. Also, Jack (Petr Bergman) loses his temper – but who, or what, is the object of his ire?
Finally, Kyle (Michael Mealor) makes a painful decision, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) suffers a setback, and tempers flare between Nick and Billy (Jason Thompson). Well, Billy did screw up a lot, so this seems par for the course. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
