The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, April 19 tease Genoa City citizens taken for a spin when schemes unravel at the seams.
At Jabot, Jack (Peter Bergman) tears into Kyle and embarrasses him in front of other board members. Quick on his feet, the younger Abbot apologizes and takes the verbal beating.
At Newman, Vicky (Amelia Heinle) is weighed down by the nightmare of JT’s death. Distracted and emotionally unhinged, Vicky is no match for Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Abby (Melissa Ordway-Gaston) when they confront her.
At the office, Neil (Kristoff St. John) updates Devon (Bryton James) and Lily on major company changes.
Back a Newman, Ashley, and Abby are shocked by the sight of Vicky working. They implore her to take some time off. Victoria refuses.
Elsewhere, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Nick grapple with JT’s situation. Nick (Joshua Morrow) reveals he has a nagging suspicion something doesn’t add up to Vicky’s story.
Back at Jabot, Kyle tries to get on Jack’s good side. His father shuts him down and sends him away.
At Newman, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) alerts Vicky (Amelia Heinle) she is taking over. Suddenly, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) appears and drops a bombshell on Ashley!
Back at the office, Right before Neil can update his children on company changes, Hilary appears.

She is possibly carrying the future heir of Hamilton Winters. Because of that, their decisions affect her future.
Neil (Kristoff St. John) is unfazed by her feeble attempt and sends her away. Lily is thrilled to see Hilary seething with rage.
Over at Crimson Lights, Nick (Joshua Morrow) continues to unload on Billy about his suspicions. Billy is oblivious to anything being amiss.
Elsewhere, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) reveals she will head Newman Enterprise! Ashley (Eileen Davidson) is shellshocked. Victoria is speechless.
However, Ashley’s shock quickly turns into anger, but she eventually accepts the news. Nikki sends her away.
Once Ashley is out of sight, Nikki asks Victoria about her feelings on the matter. Her response shocks Nikki!
Over at the other office, Neil (Kristoff St. John) rips Devon (Bryton James) a new one for all his poor business decisions. He lays it on thick when hammering Devon about his baby-making partnership with Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Devon lashes back.
At Jabot, Kyle crumbles when Jack puts him on the spot.
Jack’s attempts at mending their fractured relationship is too little, too late. Kyle is past the point of being jaded; he wants revenge for all the ‘wrongs’ his father has done to him.
At Crimson Lights, Neil visits with his grandchildren and Lily. He reiterates to Lily their company needs to scale down, refocus, and be managed by the family.
However, they both conclude Devon still needs convincing.
Elsewhere, Devon is sulking at the Bar when Hilary spies him and rushes over. Again, she attempts to get on Devon’s good side. Again, Devon tells Hilary to back off. He leaves.

At Newman, Vicky tells Nikki the truth. She is upset about her mother taking over business dealings.
At Jabot, Jack lashes at Kyle for associating with Victor. However, Jacks words carry no weight and Kyle strikes back. Eventually, the father and son settle their difference, and Jack (Peter Bergman) leaves. As soon as he is out of sight, Kyle makes a few phone calls.
The short time later, Billy arrives at Jabot. He is met by Abby and Ashley. Kyle appears and ushers them inside his (Jack’s) office.
In the meantime, a depressed Hilary spots Neil and rushes over to grovel. Neil (Kristoff St. John) doesn’t buy it.
Back at Jabot, Kyle raises a toast to Jack being back! His obvious hatred of his dad turns to elation. Jack is amused.
However, when Kyle drops a bombshell, Jack’s amusement takes on a serious tone.
Elsewhere, Neil and Devon clash again, but with a different outcome than earlier in the day.
Back at Jabot, Ashley and Abby observe Jack and Kyle. They vow to keep the paternity truth a secret…
Across the way, Billy has a moment with Jack and the brothers partner up on a new plot to protect their family from outsiders.
Back at Newman, Nick holds Vicky hostage in her office and demands to know the truth. What was the real reason she left him?
Vicky crumbles….
