The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, February 27 spy Phyllis giddy when she reconnects with a person who missed the last year of Phyllis’s complete insanity.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) faked her death, destroyed her daughter’s marriage, and then went on a Genoa City tour all but grabbing people by the lapels and screaming in their faces about how not only was everything that happened not her fault, but she is the true victim here.
Is it any wonder that practically everyone but Summer (Allison Lanier), Danny (Michael Damian), Lauren (Tracey Bregman), and Michael (Christian Le Blanc) are giving Phyllis a very, very wide berth? Except here comes Amanda (Mishael Morgan, find out what she has to say about her new movie role here). Amanda and Phyllis were friendly back in the day. So Amanda likely thinks of Phyllis as more or less sane. Is it any wonder that Phyllis sees a fresh target for her self-pity?
Is it a case of divide and conquer or simply bad communication? Jack (Peter Bergman) confronts Tucker (Trevor St. John) over Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and gives him the umpteenth ultimatum since Tucker returned to town. Will this time be the charm? It’s not the third. it’s not even the thirtieth. So it’s hard to calculate.
At the same time, Ashley gets into it with Tucker’s latest lady friend Audra (Zuleyka Silver). Though to be fair, she’s been around this whole time. Does Ashley have something new to say to her? Has she thought of some new names to call Audra? New accusations to lob against Tucker?
Does she think that she time Audra will believe what she’s already dismissed multiple times up to this point? Are Ashley and Jack working in tandem? Because Tucker and Audra are. And if one side is united while another is vacillating wildly all over the place, it is kind of easy to calculate which duo will come out on top.
