The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, May 22, call a halt to the petty squabbling between Devon and Billy by having Jack demonstrate how grown-up business people settle disputes.
We realize that Devon (Bryton James) and Billy (Jason Thompson) are technically adults. They both have kids. They’ve been married several times. They can drink and vote. What they can’t do is behave like adults at work. They just keep sniping at each other, then running to Lily (Christel Khalil, who recently talked all things Lily) to complain that the other is a big bully.
We’ve had enough. Luckily, Jack (Peter Bergman) has had enough, too. So he plays elder statesman and offers a lesson on professional behavior. Will either one lend him an ear?
Strangely, Jordan (Colleen Zenk) doesn’t like being locked up in Victor’s (Eric Braeden) basement prison. So she’s planning yet another escape. Considering that she’s ducked prison and previous captivity multiple times before, our money is on Jordan. Especially if Cole (J. Eddie Peck) follows his instincts, spies on Victor, and stumbles upon his aunt. Will she be able to talk him into setting her free? Or will Victor’s arrogance lead to his downfall in some other way?
Audra (Zuleyka Silver) has never lacked for male companionship since popping up in Genoa City. Frankly, now that we’ve met her, we have no idea what this grown-up woman ever saw in a child like Noah Newman (Rory Gibson). Heck, even Kyle (Michael Mealor) seemed like a whiny little boy next to her. Tucker (Trevor St. John), on the other hand, feels less like her father and more like her grandfather. We can’t imagine he will ever summon up the energy to keep up with her.
Which leaves Nate (Sean Dominic). Nate doesn’t seem too old or too young. He seems too dumb, but that’s everybody. These two could work well together. And by work, we mean just as long as Nate lets Audra take the lead on everything.
