The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, February 26 see Esther step up for her beloved Mrs. C when her heirs prove to be complete idiots. Maybe they can have a seance to get Kay to set them both straight.
Family Ties
Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper, whose real life son spoke about her here) inherited a company from her first husband, Mr. Reynolds. She gave it to her second husband, Phillip Chancellor, who turned it into Chancellor Industries. Now, Kay’s grandson Devon (Bryton James), who isn’t related to either Mr. Reynolds or Mr. Chancellor, and Billy (Jason Thompson), the son of the woman who had an affair with Phillip Chancellor (but no relation to Mr. Chancellor), are fighting over the company’s future.
Billy wants to add the name of his mother’s onetime husband, John Abbott (Jerry Douglas), to the official name. Devon wants to keep the name of his adoptive dad, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John). Neither John nor Neil were related to Mr. Reynolds, Mr. Chancellor, or Kay. Maybe Billy and Devon can’t see why this entire debate is bizarre. But Esther (Kate Linder) was there for most of it. She knows who is — and who isn’t — related to Kay. Here’s hoping she lays it all out for the squabbling duo. They may need a PowerPoint. And to use tiny words.
Help Is on the Way
Jack (Peter Bergman) and Traci (Beth Maitland) are worried about Ashley (Eileen Davidson). Jack and Traci have been worried about Ashley for quite some time now. Jack and Traci continue to worry about Ashley. Ashley continues to tell them not to worry. She is totally fine and in control and sane. Now let’s argue about something that may or may have not happened in Paris months ago just one more time.
Promises, Promises
Audra (Zuleyka Silver) may be a lot of things, but stupid isn’t one of them. She can’t possibly believe that Tucker actually cares about her, or that he will ever give her free rein professionally. Yet, for some reason, she keeps letting Tucker tell her that. Without laughing.
