The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

Once upon a time, a teenager named Cricket (Lauralee Bell) was just helping her cousin Joe photograph beautiful Jabot models. But one look at her all-American, blonde, blue-eyed perkiness, and a nepo-baby star was born. Cricket became a model herself. She was loved by all. Except for mega-rock star Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). He was too hot, too hot, and, let’s be honest, too old. So Cricket bid her time.

Once she grew up into Christine, though, that’s when she and Danny were finally able to connect. And they’d have lived happily ever after — if Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) hadn’t lied about Danny fathering her son, Daniel. Now, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) is grown up, Danny is back in Genoa City, Christine is divorced, and, despite Phyllis making a complete fool of herself on Christmas Eve, there is nothing standing in Danny and Christine’s way. So why aren’t they going for it? There are a couple of reasons. And they discuss them all.

No Son of Mine

Devon (Bryton James) was pretty clear with Tucker (Trevor St. John): He can stop by and give Dominic gifts on Christmas morning. But that doesn’t mean Devon is going to have anything to do with his father — outside of accepting stuff from him. In business, Tucker has never met a “no” he couldn’t turn into a “yes.” But this isn’t business. And Devon intends to hold his ground. Will this be a battle of wills, or will one of them bend? Tucker only knows how to win. Will his son be the one to hand him his first loss?

Mover and Shaker

Audra (Zuleyka Silver) arrived in Genoa City flaunting a resumé that suggested she knew anyone who was anyone. Things have been rocky in Wisconsin (the woman was a star in London, but she apparently doesn’t have the chops to make it here), and she’s been hungry for some good news. A familiar face pops up just in time to tell her something she needs to hear — whether or not she wants to.
