Roger Howarth is reportedly back on the General Hospital set taping scenes, as a new character slated to debut at the end of the month. The actor was killed off as Franco Baldwin in April, a role he’d played since 2013.
Kimberly J. Brown is set to debut on GH in a new mystery role, this week. The daytime vet is remembered for her role as Marah on Guiding Light.
Kristina Wagner will be popping in as Felicia Scorpio-Jones, when GH airs a special tribute episode to the late John Reilly (Sean Donely), later this month. It will mark her first appearance in a year.
James Patrick Stuart (Valentin) has been cast in a pilot for Disney Channel; however, he has no plans on leaving GH. The actor anticipates being able to tackle both series with some creative scheduling.
The Young and the Restless released Mishael Morgan’s first air date back as Amanda Sinclair. The actress, who’s been on medical leave after undergoing emergency eye surgery, will return Tuesday, June 1.
Michael Bofshever has joined the YR cast in the recurring role of Dr. Hedges, a new member of Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) medical team. He’ll debut on Tuesday, May 11.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who’s been off on maternity leave, has returned to work on The Bold and the Beautiful set. There’s no word on her first airdate back, yet.
Denise Richards pops back in as Shauna Fulton on Tuesday, May 11, and Wednesday, May 12. She’ll share scenes with Rena Sofer’s Quinn and Kiara Barnes’ Zoe.
Days of our Lives tossed viewers a blast-from-the-past casting move, bringing on Dan Wells to play “Dr. Dunn,” the Salem University Hospital physician who confirmed Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) was “dying.” Wells appeared on the soap in 2005, when he subbed for Alison Sweeney during her paternity leave, playing Sami disguised as a man named Stan.
