Phyllis Summers and Jack Abbott just can’t seem to get their timing together on The Young and the Restless. First, he decided he was madly in love with her again, but Phyllis was still with Nicholas Newman.
The Young and the Restless Polling
Then Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) broke up, and she wanted Jack (Peter Bergman) again…but he was tired of being jerked around. So now they’re just pals. Who take trips together to find long-lost dead sons and unknown granddaughters. Should Jack and Phyllis give their relationship another chance? Over 2,000 viewers gave us their take:
Y&R: Bond…Love Bond
A majority 57% are all for it. The only reason they broke up in the first place years ago was that Phyllis couldn’t handle the fact that she’d slept with a Jack lookalike for months. This drove her into his brother, Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson), arms.
Except Phyllis was a completely different person then. This one doesn’t have any traumatic memories. And she’s really pissed off with Billy. For that whole sleeping with Summer Newman Abbott (Hunter King) thing. So why not get back together with Jack? No harm done!
The Young and the Restless: Hurts So Good
The last two options got down to the wire, but 22% of you Young and the Restless fans were able to pull out a win for these two will only hurt each other again, so there’s no point in reliving bad memories. They don’t work together in the long term. Honestly, nobody can put up with Phyllis in the long term. Jack should take a lesson from that.
Y&R: Friends With Benefits
Just have sex with no strings, a slightly smaller 21% of the audience suggests. You’re already friends. Neither one of you is with anyone at the moment. And you know you’re compatible. This can be something to keep you entertained…until someone better comes along.
