Should Lily and Jordan Give Love A Shot On The Young And The Restless?

Lily and Cane are on the outs on The Young and the Restless. Jordan’s smart enough to know what Hilary’s always going to be drawn to Devon. This begs the question as to whether or not Lily and Jordan will take their friendship to the next level.

Crossing Jordan
Most of you, just over 67%, feel that Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) and Lily (Christel Khalil) should not get together. These voters are likely the devoted fans of Cane and Lily, a couple that has a fierce following.

Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily fans are so passionate about them that they demanded that the show resurrect Cane after he’d been killed off.

That’s always a stretch, but viewers were willing to buy it if it meant that their favorite duo would be reunited.

Meanwhile, Jordan’s got a lot going on — looks, charm, and a steady gig. But it’s going to take someone incredibly special to make viewers want to see Lily with anyone other than Cane.

New Beginnings
Almost a full third of you, just under 33%, do want to see Jordan and Lily get together. Sure, he’s got that con-artist past, but so does Chelsea and she’s turned out to be one of Genoa City’s more solid citizens.

We haven’t seen Jordan up to anything duplicitous since we’ve known him. He appears genuinely concerned about Lily and her feelings. Why shouldn’t they have a shot together and see what happens?

Cane And Lily Are The War
Savvy soap fans know that there have to be some battles lost and some skirmishes won before the final battle is said and done. Maybe it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world to have Cane and Lily separated for a while?

That way, they can exchange longing looks across the room in those big party scenes. The audience can invest in their inevitable reunion. And if Lily has to be occupied with someone else along the way, she could do a lot worse than Jordan — who is a great guy!
