Chance Chancellor has barely returned from the dead and to The Young and the Restless before Rey Rosales was urging him to get back onto the Genoa City Police Department. His wife, Abby Newman- Abbott Chancellor, isn’t thrilled with the idea.
The Young and the Restless Polling
She wants Chance (Conner Floyd) at home making up for lost time with her and Baby Dominic. And Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) brings word that her husband, Paul Williams (because, God forbid, we should get to see Y&R vet Doug Davidson) isn’t completely on board, either. But what do the viewers think?
Own Business
Why work for The Man, 44% of the audience wonders, when Chance could go into business for himself as a private investigator? He could set his own hours – which means more time to spend with Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Dominic. He could choose only the cases he wants to take – to keep the Post Traumatic Press Disorder at bay. And it’s not like he actually needs to earn a living. If his Chancellor millions aren’t enough, we’re sure the Abbotts and Newmans could throw a few crumbs their way to keep the family from starving on The Young and the Restless.
Follow Your Bliss On The Young and the Restless
On the other hand, 38% of you recognize that dispatching justice is Chance’s passion, and he should get back to it as soon as possible. It’s the only thing that might quiet those voices in his head. And that, in the end, will be what’s best for Abby and their baby.
Too Much
He should never put himself in danger again, 18% advise. Chance has clearly seen more in one lifetime than anyone should ever have to, and pushing himself back into danger is just asking for trouble. Get a nice safe job in the corporate world. We don’t know what they do, but it sure does seem easier, considering how rarely anyone goes into the office.
