The Y&R spoilers recap for Thursday, May 19, 2022, brings a big change for Jack Abbott and Phyllis Summers. Plus, Mariah Copeland and Tessa Porter continue enjoying their wedding day at home, Diane Jenkins finds a friend in Michael Baldwin, Kyle Abbott and Summer Newman Abbott contemplate a huge change, and Noah Newman shares wise advice with Allie Nguyen.

Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights

The brides went home and enjoyed their post-wedding evening in an apartment Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) decorated with rose petals and other sweet details. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) opened some adorably quirky wedding gifts from various people in their lives.

Then Tessa gave Mariah pause when she said “kids,” and Mariah actually agreed she’d love to have more than one child eventually. Then, they sealed the idea with a kiss and got started on consummating their marriage. The two reaffirmed their commitment to each other in bed. After that, they decided to stay up all night to enjoy every moment of their wedding day.

Young and the Restless: ‘Phack’ is Back

Jack (Peter Bergman) walked Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) back to her room. Once there, their unexpected kiss progressed into a much more involved adult time in Phyllis’s room. It seems like “Phack” is back together.

At Society, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) appreciated the fact that Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) seemed happy enough to see her. He gave her a dressing down over crashing the wedding, but he also reminded Diane that people cared about her. Of course, in order to be accepted back into the fold, she’d likely have to face the wrath of Genoa City.

Phyllis and Jack took their afterglow to Society, and he implored her to ignore Diane and Michael. Diane felt that Phyllis was fawning all over Jack for her benefit, and Michael didn’t really engage in that topic. He did, however, pay for Diane’s dinner. When she left the restaurant, Diane wished Phyllis and Jack a good evening while Phyllis advised her to pack.

Then, Phyllis confronted Michael, but he told her to suck it up because he’d support her the same way he’s supported Diane if need be. Michael wished Jack good luck and advised Phyllis to enjoy her time with him.

Later, Jack and Phyllis said goodbye downstairs at The Grand Phoenix, and they went their separate ways in order to avoid questions. Of course, after Phyllis went upstairs, Diane was there to confront Jack. She expressed that she’d do whatever it took to spend time with Kyle even if it meant turning the other cheek when it came to Phyllis. Jack advised Diane to give Kyle some space to make his decision, and he said he wouldn’t be a go-between. Diane had one last jab, though, to make about Jack and Phyllis.

Y&R Spoilers Recap: A Major Change

Summer (Allison Lanier) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) enjoyed being together again. They talked about Diane, and Summer seemed against the idea that Kyle might let his mom back into his life. However, they tabled that conversation and shared some adult time together.

Kyle mentioned how much he missed Genoa City despite loving their life in Milan. Summer agreed with him. It just so happened that she found huge financial problems at Marchetti, and her boss wasn’t interested in fixing things. However, Summer had an idea for how to keep the company afloat — she wanted Jabot to buy Marchetti. If that happened, they could move back home permanently. Or course, Kyle would have to be willing to return home with Diane being alive.

Y&R: Friendly Advice

Noah (Rory Gibson) had the keys to Crimson Lights, so he went to burn off steam after the wedding. Much to his surprise, Allie (Kelsey Wang) popped in, and she seemed shocked to find the coffee shop closed.

Allie complained about having so many people in her family that she didn’t know well. Noah gave her some sage advice about families and family drama. He let her know no matter how messy it all was, it was worth it. Then, he explained how Jack used to be his stepfather, providing Allie a bit of insight into Jack’s many marriages.
