Y&R Spoilers Recap For March 22: The Newmans Corner Victoria

The Y&R spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 22, 2022, brings a cornered Victoria Newman Locke looking for a way out, but the Newmans are determined to save her. Meanwhile, Ashland Locke knows they’re wearing down his wife, Nate Hastings lashed out at his cousins, and Lauren Fenmore Baldwin demanded answers about her husband.

Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights

At Newman Media, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) enlisted his family’s help to create Plan A for saving Victoria (Amelia Heinle) from Ashland (Robert Newman). Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) pointed out that Ashland might be so desperate that he’d harm Victoria, which brought plenty of pearl-clutching from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

Declaring she’d do anything for her daughter, Nikki went to Newman Locke and demanded to see Victoria alone. However, Ashland wasn’t born yesterday, so he realized his mother-in-law was up to something, and he refused to leave. Right before Nikki burst into the office, he’d asked Victoria to fly away on an impromptu trip to Italy.

Eventually, Nikki got Ashland to leave by lying about her marriage troubles, and then Victoria quickly figured out her mother had lied. At that point, Victor, Nick, and Adam walked in, declaring they wouldn’t leave until she saw all the evidence they had that Ashland had faked his cancer diagnosis.

Young and the Restless: Brotherly…Love

Before the brothers Newman left Newman Media to save their older sister, Adam and Nick snarked back and forth, which wasn’t surprising. However, Adam got a stern warning from Victor after insinuating that the board of Newman Locke should remove both Ashland and Victoria. After all, Victoria’s behavior has been incompetent.

Victor pointed his finger at Adam, and let him know in no uncertain terms that he wasn’t to do anything to remove Victoria as CEO. And, Nick accused his brother of trying to swoop in and take the crown while Victoria is down and out. Of course, Adam reminded his brother that he actually works for the company — Nick doesn’t.

Y&R Spoilers Recap: Where’s Michael?

Amid all the sibling rivalry, Lauren (Tracey Bregman) stormed in demanding answers about Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc). For a moment, Victor tried to reassure her, but he eventually caved and admitted he hadn’t heard from Michael. Lauren wanted answers, but Victor wasn’t willing to give them. She even asked Adam and Nick what they knew, but they kept their mouths shut, reassuring Lauren that Michael could take care of himself.

Y&R: All In The Family

Finally, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) struggled in the aftermath of having trusted Ashland. Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) tried to soothe his worries over some coffee at Crimson Lights. An elated Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) walked in, and they instantly bombarded their cousin with a job offer to work for the family business. After all, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) would absolutely adore what they’re doing, and Nate is a big part of the family.

When Nate tried to say no, or not right now, Lily insisted until he finally blew up at her…talk about awkward. Eventually, he left to clear his head after trying to smooth things over. Lily let him know the job offer had no expiration date. Both Devon and Lily tried to get Elena to give them the scoop, but she just told them Nate would be okay…eventually.
