The Y&R spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 2, 2022, brings Victor Newman demanding Ashland Locke leave in a way that saves Victoria Newman Locke’s feelings, but Ashland declines to acquiesce to his father-in-law’s wishes. Plus, Adam Newman nearly bites off his tongue, Nick Newman relies on Sharon Rosales, and Mariah Copeland is the last to know.
Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights
Victor (Eric Braeden) managed to avoid Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and he went to talk to Ashland (Robert Newman) alone. Ashland knew his father-in-law meant business when he locked the door to Victoria’s office at Newman Locke.
Victor wasted no time laying into his son-in-law. He made demands and he pointed fingers. A lesser man than Ashland would’ve been shaking in his boots. After Victor laid out how Ashland would leave and divorce Victoria without letting her know she’d been scammed, Ashland had only one word. No.
It seems Ashland believes that he and Victoria truly love each other, so why would he leave the only woman he’s ever loved like this? That, of course, poses a problem for Victor since he’d hoped to spare Victoria’s feelings.
Young and the Restless: Resting Smug Face
Speaking of Victoria, she was at Newman Media acting…well, just like herself. Adam (Mark Grossman) worked hard to keep his sister engaged with him while Victor had his talk with Ashland, and it was tough work.
Victoria did her level best to let her brother know what a pest he was and how awful every single idea he had for the company was. She acted bored and rude and downright mean. Adam, nearly bit off his tongue to keep from telling Victoria just how wrong she was about her and Ashland’s wonderful relationship and business partnership. Instead, he settled for a few jabs and some smug facial expressions, which Victoria noticed and wondered about. Adam blamed it all on resting smug face.
Y&R Spoilers Recap: Old Flames Die Hard
Sharon (Sharon Case) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) flirted with each other until Nick (Joshua Morrow) stormed into Crimson Lights, leaving Sharon on high alert. Rey kindly stepped out, and Nick spilled all the details about Ashland’s massive lie to his ex-wife. As a cancer survivor (Y&R remembered!), Sharon was furious to hear Ashland lied about having cancer.
Then, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) interrupted his parents’ big discussion, and they pretended like they were worried about his coming in late at Sharon’s the night before. Noah mentioned some girl he went to high school with and gave his parents a hard time for treating him like he’s a teenager, and they agreed with him.
Ultimately, Nick left the coffeehouse, and he went back to Newman Media to throw his lot in with Adam and Victor against Ashland.
Y&R: The Last to Know
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) finally found out about Dominic’s bone marrow infusion. Not surprisingly, she was hurt to be the last to know about the health issues the baby she carried dealt with. However, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) distracted her fiancée by making some major wedding plans.
They tried to combine their top three ideas, but of course, it wasn’t all that easy. A destination wedding is out, but Mariah didn’t want to do something that is too traditional. In fact, she decided they needed an interactive wedding. Ultimately, Tessa told Mariah that their wedding day should end up honoring their love for each other instead of focusing on their guests. After all, they’re beyond lucky.
In the end, Mariah and Tessa went downstairs to announce to Sharon, Rey, and Noah that they had a big announcement about their wedding…coming soon.
