The Y&R spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 22, 2022, brings Victor Newman telling Adam Newman he better not screw things up as CEO. Elsewhere Nikki Newman tries to get Nick Newman and Billy Abbott to help her find Victoria Newman while Lily Winters worries about her man. Finally, Chelsea Lawson talks to the men of her past.

Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights

Adam (Mark Grossman) slipped up and let Victor (Eric Braeden) know that he understood Victor’s plan for getting Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to return home. Even so, Adam vowed to wow his father because he believes he should remain CEO regardless of what Victoria does. Victor reminded Adam that he’d been CEO before and it didn’t go so well. Adam pointed out that he’s a new man now.

Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) showed up and entered without knocking, which irked Adam. Victor got up to leave with Michael, and he warned Adam not to screw things up.

Later, Adam went to Newman Media and told Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) about his meeting with Victor. They talked each other up and then enjoyed some adult time together at the office…again.

When Victor and Michael got to Society, Victor explained his plan for getting Victoria to return. He lamented that his daughter kept choosing poorly when it comes to men. Michael pointed out the obvious — that Victor was a deeply flawed man who changed. The Mustache didn’t necessarily agree with the lawyer’s analysis. Even so, Victor tasked Michael with figuring out where Victoria and Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) are.

Young and the Restless: Worried

At Crimson Lights, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) worried about Victoria, and of course, neither had any big thoughts on what to do. Nick pointed out that it seemed like Victoria really meant it that she wanted to leave and break ties with the family. He also worried that they might push too hard, leaving Victoria without a place to return when things inevitably went wrong with Ashland.

Later, Billy (Jason Thompson) showed up, and Nikki asked him if he knew where Victoria was. He admitted he didn’t, and then he explained that he knew Victoria would never put their kids in jeopardy.

Y&R Spoilers Recap: Outdoors

At Chancellor Park, Lily (Christel Khalil) overheard Billy talking, and then she and Billy caught up, and he explained that Jill Foster Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton) worried he might be dredging up too much and at risk of spiraling due to his podcast. Lily worried but Billy reassured her that he was fine.

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) showed up, and Lily left. Billy and Chelsea caught up, and she opened up to him, telling him about her friendship with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Billy seemed surprised. Before he had to leave, Chelsea wondered if they could get Johnny and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) together to hang out, but Billy seemed less than thrilled with the suggestion.

Billy left, and Nick showed up. He and Chelsea caught up. He told her all about Ashland’s lies, and Chelsea was shocked, but she wasn’t a stranger to the con. Nick mentioned his frustration, including wanting to put Ashland through a wall.

Y&R: Surprise

At Chancellor-Winters, Lily spoke with her assistant. The press wanted access to Billy because of his podcast, and Lily seemed surprised. However, she agreed to give them access to him.
