The Y&R spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 21, 2022, brings Phyllis Summers in disguise and she’s up to no good, especially when it comes to Jack Abbott and Diane Jenkins. Plus, Gloria Abbott Bardwell walks in on Chelsea Lawson and Chloe Mitchell Fisher arguing. Finally, Summer Newman Abbott and Kyle Abbott pitch a new idea to Lauren Fenmore Baldwin.
Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) blew back into town, but for some reason, she wanted to keep her return under wraps. She donned a huge black hat and sunglasses as if that would make her less noticeable. Then, she lied to Summer (Allison Lanier) about where she was.
Ultimately, Phyllis showed up at Crimson Lights where she happened to overhear a conversation between Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters). The latter told the former that he deserved so much better than Phyllis. Of course, Phyllis was peeved — uh oh.
Young and the Restless: Just The Two Of Us
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) argued over the former taking so long with her designs. Chelsea said she needed space, but Chloe noted that somebody had to ensure the clothing actually got made. Things escalated, but then Gloria (Judith Chapman) sashayed in with some wise words.
Gloria told both women that she knew they thought she was simply there for comic relief. However, she pointed out that she’s a survivor, and then she told both women that they have what it takes to succeed. However, they needed to work together in peace to make it happen.

At the Abbott mansion, Summer continued to push Kyle (Michael Mealor) about taking the job with Marchetti, and he finally agreed. They also rehashed the issues between their mothers, but Kyle didn’t seem interested in asking Diane to take a trip.
Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) showed up for a meeting, and they pitched her a big idea — Fenmores would have exclusive Marchetti distribution in the U.S. Lauren had questions about the designer, and they said they hoped Chelsea would do it. After Kyle left, Lauren and Summer talked about Phyllis and Diane, and Lauren thought perhaps Diane should apologize to Phyllis for their bad past. Summer thought that was a worthwhile idea to pursue.
Y&R: Family
Finally, before Diane interrupted them, Jack and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) enjoyed coffee and conversation. He offered her an internship at Jabot, but Allie wasn’t quite sure that’s what she wanted. Even so, she thanked Jack for everything he’s done to help her since her dad died. She left to meet Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) when Diane walked in, but not before she exchanged a pleasant greeting with the woman who initially used her.
