The Y&R spoilers recap for Friday, July 22, 2022, brings big trouble as Ashland Locke subtly threatens Victoria Newman, and he has nothing left to lose. Plus, Sally Spectra tries to get the truth out of Adam Newman, and Chelsea Lawson overhears. Finally, Noah Newman tells Nick Newman about his plans to leave New Hope.
Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights
A storm brewed in Genoa City. Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) house made all the creepy sounds. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) showed up, but she convinced him things were fine. Then, he went to find Nick (Joshua Morrow) and warned him that something didn’t seem quite right at Victoria’s, but Nick told Billy to stay out of it, which Billy didn’t appreciate. Billy urged Nick to check on his sister.

Back at her house, Victoria was focused on work when she heard a tapping on the patio door. She went to open the curtains and was creeped out after finding Ashland (Robert Newman) standing there in the stormy weather. She wondered if she should call the police, but he insisted he just didn’t know how to say goodbye.
Against her better judgment, Victoria let Ashland inside, and they exchanged some heated words. Ashland yelled that he wouldn’t be dismissed, which clearly left Victoria rattled. Poor, poor Ashland felt pain because Victoria made him feel again. Well, too bad because there’s nothing left to fight for. Of course, there’s also nothing left for Ashland to lose. She tried to make him leave, but an agitated Ashland seemed on the verge of getting physical with his ex-wife.
Young and the Restless: We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together
Yes, it’s well and truly over. At Society, Sally (Courtney Hope) tried to get Adam (Mark Grossman) to tell her he only broke things off so she could keep the CEO job at Newman Media, but he denied it. Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) wasn’t too shy to tell her new boss, “I told you so,” in slightly nicer words. She encouraged Sally to let things be over and focus on her job instead.
Of course, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) witnessed a bit of Sally and Adam’s conversation, and she disingenuously gave her sympathy to Sally. Once Chelsea found out that Sally and Chloe were working together at Newman Media, she had nothing but snarkiness for Sally, which Chloe didn’t appreciate coming from her friend.

After Chelsea snarked at Chloe and Sally, she met with Billy at the bar at Society. They bounced around some podcast ideas over drinks. Billy prepared her for his upcoming trip out of town.
Across the room, Sally noticed, but Chloe tried to keep her focused on their jobs instead of what Chelsea and Billy were doing.
Y&R Spoilers Recap: It’s Not You
Earlier, Noah (Rory Gibson) finally told Nick about his desire to leave New Hope and his plans for a club at Top of the Tower. After all that worry, though, Nick was pleased to hear his son was excited about something. Nick gave Noah a hug and offered his support.
Later, Noah met Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) at the rooftop bar to celebrate his telling Nick. They enjoyed drinks and dancing, and of course, another kiss.
