Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam (Mark Grossman) decided to drop the “everything’s great” act with each other, and instead, they had a heart-to-heart in Chancellor Park. Of course, they were so mistrusting of each other, that it took some back and forth before they arrived at who might go first. Ultimately, it was Chelsea.

She let Adam know she was done with the podcast. He had some not-so-kind words to say about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), but Chelsea set him straight. She railed against not having a career at this point.
Then, it was Adam’s turn, and he told a stunned Chelsea what really went down the night Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) died. They discussed how Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) had covered for Adam when he was young, and Adam admitted how much it had messed him up to learn he’d killed a man as a child.
Ultimately, Adam expressed he was filled with rage towards his father once again, but Chelsea advised Adam to do things differently. He could still beat Victor, but he should redefine what winning meant. Instead of beating his old man at business, Chelsea thought Adam should, instead, work at beating Victor by being a better father than him. Ultimately, they declared their happiness at how well they were getting along and hugged. Of course, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) happened upon their hug, as she spied from afar.
Young and the Restless: Impenetrable Fortress
Earlier, Sally and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) pitched some ideas to Nick (Joshua Morrow) at Newman Media, which he loved. Then, he stayed back to speak with Sally alone. They discussed Adam and his ask that Sally breaks the story about what really happened the night Ashland died. Sally explained that she planned to keep the secret and that she’s an impenetrable fortress when she has something to keep under wraps.
Sally had lots of compassion for Nick over him killing Ashland while protecting Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). They also talked about how Sally had a checkered past, and she expressed her happiness that they’d given her a second chance to do things better. Nick mentioned that he wished a second chance would help Adam because he wasn’t able to try or rely on him at this point. Throughout the conversation, the two appeared to grow closer in their friendship and status as co-workers. Nick seemed happy Sally worked on his team.
Y&R Spoilers Recap: Celebration Time
At Society, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) had a table for one where she tried to enjoy her meal…alone. Of course, Diane (Susan Walters) showed up for some takeout, and she confronted Nikki. To Diane’s surprise, Nikki stayed polite and cordial, which raised Diane’s suspicions. However, Nikki remained above it all — for a while.
Meanwhile, Traci (Beth Maitland) had some questions for her brother, Jack (Peter Bergman). She wondered why he’d been so happy, and she hinted that she suspected some of his positive mood might have to do with Diane and him forgiving her. Jack wondered what forgiving Diane would even look like, but he admitted that he hadn’t yet forgiven her. As they were getting to the good stuff, Noah (Rory Gibson) and Allie (Kelsey Wang) showed up with some great news. He’d pitched his club idea to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), and she was all for it. Jack seemed surprised to learn that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) ended up deciding to sell her hotel to Chancellor-Winters. Even so, he was thrilled for Noah and Allie, so the family decided to celebrate.
Not surprisingly, they ran across Diane and Nikki at Society, and Jack went to do damage control even though there was none to control. Surprisingly, Jack asked Diane to join them, which caused Traci’s jaw to drop. Diane declined, though, and after the celebratory meal, Allie and Noah split. The young couple went back to the Abbott mansion and had some grown-up time together to celebrate privately.
At The Grand Phoenix, Phyllis worked overtime to sell Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales) on investigating Diane. Talia worried the story might be old, but Phyllis convinced her there had to be more to it. In fact, she thought it might be one for the ages when all was said and done.
