Y&R Spoilers Recap For August 24: Old Adam Is Back And Making Drastic Moves

The Y&R spoilers recap for Wednesday, August 24, 2022, brings a drama-filled day as Old Adam Newman returns to his roots while Victor Newman expresses his regrets about his younger son. Plus, Chelsea Lawson gets snippy with people in her life.

Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights

Victor (Eric Braeden) tried to commend Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) for doing the right thing for the Newmans. However, Chance wasn’t having it. He told his father-in-law in no uncertain terms that he absolutely would not be helping Victor break the law ever again. Then, Chance pointed out how hard it was on Victor’s family the last time The Mustache spent time in prison.

Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) stopped by Newman Media to tell Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that Chance closed the case about Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death. She was relieved. Then, the two sat down to watch Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) meeting for Newman Enterprises.

Later, Victoria met with Nick at Chancellor Park, and they discussed her plans. He thought she was being aggressive, but he could see the possibilities in what she showed him. Then, Victoria thanked Nick again for saving her life.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor met at the ranch, and they celebrated Victoria’s resounding success with Victor declaring, “The Newmans are back.” Of course, he still regretted that he’d never been able to fully integrate Adam (Mark Grossman) into the family because Adam had never forgiven him for growing up on a farm in Kansas without a father.

Y&R Spoilers Recap: Old Adam

Speaking of Adam, he got busy trying to talk Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) into helping him bring down his family. Kevin was too on top of things, though, and he realized Adam’s angle, so he refused to help. Of course, that didn’t stop Adam. He called somebody and arranged for them to steal Kevin’s messenger bag. Later, Adam’s henchman came to his hotel room to give him Kevin’s laptop.

Earlier, Adam had talked with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) at the rooftop bar, and she spilled all the details of Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) deciding to quit the podcast. Adam had some advice for her, but Chelsea took offense at him, insinuating she keep her drama quiet when Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) was around. Sally happened to show up, and she eavesdropped on their conversation.

Young & Restless Recap: Under Pressure

Before she met with Adam, Chelsea and Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) had a drink at the rooftop bar. Things didn’t go so well for them, though. Chelsea accused Chloe of not letting her live her life after Chloe expressed her concerns over Chelsea’s attachment to Billy.

Later, Chloe met up with a frantic Kevin at Crimson Lights. It seemed his messager bag with his Genoa City Police Department laptop had been stolen out of his car. Uh oh.
