The Y&R spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 26, 2022, brings a big confrontation between Nikki Newman and Diane Jenkins and Nikki and Ashland Locke. Plus, Jack Abbott drops a bombshell on Kyle Abbott, Sharon Rosales lashes out at Chelsea Lawson, and everybody worries about Victoria Newman Locke.
Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) wasted no time tearing into Diane (Susan Walters). For a bit, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) stayed in the room with her, adding snarky comments. However, they had to leave when Jack got a text from Kyle (Michael Mealor). Nikki chose to stay.
At that point, she got down to brass tacks. Nikki had plenty of choice words for the woman she once thought she’d killed. She let Diane know that she didn’t believe her little story about why she returned for even one moment. The Diane Jenkins Apology Tour wasn’t going to cut it for Genoa City. Nikki declared that Diane would find no redemption. No one wanted Diane in Genoa City, and no one ever will.
Young and the Restless: Condolences
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) visited Sharon (Sharon Case) to give her condolences. Sharon appreciated it, and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) spoke with his sister. She explained a bit more about why Ashland (Robert Newman) was there. Nick worried that Ashland caused the crash, but Victoria set him straight.
Sharon told Nick she was ready to go to the morgue to say goodbye to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). Meanwhile, Victoria ran into Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) at Crimson Lights. Victoria made a rude comment about the crash finishing off what Chelsea had started the year before with the poisoning. However, Chelsea set Victoria straight, telling her Rey forgave her and they were about to take Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to a hockey game together when he died. Victoria hadn’t known, and she expressed her condolences.
Later, Sharon came into the coffee shop, and Chelsea took that moment to express her condolences. Sharon angrily told Chelsea that she shouldn’t be mourning at all.
Y&R Spoilers Recap: Bombshell
Jack arrived home to Kyle. They did a bit of catching up, but Kyle wanted to know the real reason why his dad had called him home. Jack then told the whole tale about the strange texts alerting him to the existence of Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang). Kyle seemed confused and asked his dad to give it to him straight.
That’s when Jack dropped the bombshell about who the anonymous texter was — Kyle’s supposedly dead mother, Diane. Diane left a message for Jack, asking to see Kyle soon just as Jack explained that Diane was in GC and wanted to see him.
Y&R: Get Out!
Adam (Mark Grossman) considered going to give his condolences to Sharon. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) encouraged him to do so, but he explained how it might leave Sharon’s family upset. For Sally, that wasn’t a good enough reason not to go.
Then, Adam saw Ashland, and he confronted his sister’s lying liar of a husband. After all, they had a deal. Ashland pointed out that it wasn’t a deal that he’d leave town, though. Later, Victor (Eric Braeden) stopped by to see his son at Newman Media, and they talked about the situation with Ashland. The Mustache proclaimed that there’s no way Ashland would have half a billion of his money while also staying in Genoa City. After that, Victor also cautioned Adam against going to see Sharon.
Ashland stopped by The Grand Phoenix, and he talked to Phyllis about seeing Harrison. Phyllis suggested that he wait to talk with Kyle about it. Then she asked him about the accident, and Ashland said he was doing okay. Nikki walked out, and she saw Ashland in the hotel lobby, and she angrily confronted her soon-to-be ex-son-in-law. Ashland warned that Nikki wouldn’t get rid of him short of murder…she seemed to take that as a challenge.
Victor went to see Victoria, and she reassured him that Ashland was done at Newman Locke and in their marriage. Victoria did reveal that she did still have feelings for the no-good dirty liar who’d saved her life. She’s moving on because she learned her lesson about Ashland’s lying, but Victor wasn’t convinced.
