Young and the Restless: Trust
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) asked Victor why he’d purposefully mixed up his sons’ names. Victor said their kids thought they could get the best of them. He didn’t trust Victoria or Adam’s positive attitudes. He felt he couldn’t trust anybody, but Nikki said he could trust Victoria, Nick, and her.

Victor complained about their children’s behavior. However, he trusted Nate, but Nikki urged caution. Victor worried that Adam or Victoria would try to betray him from the inside, and he worried somebody would stab him in the back.
Nikki wondered if she was also on Victor’s watch list. Victor declared that as long as he lived, none of their kids would take over his empire. Victor reassured Nikki that he trusted her and would tell her later what he was doing. He wanted his wife’s trust.
Young and the Restless Recap: Talks
Nick (Joshua Morrow) drank beer at the bar at Society, and Adam (Mark Grossman) walked in, telling Nick he was worried about their father. Of course, Nick didn’t see the problem with Victor calling Adam Nick instead. He blamed Adam for screwing up his life, and Nick let his brother know he was done.
As Nick threatened to punch Adam, the younger man stayed calm. Nick furiously told Adam they were through. Nick left, and Adam followed his brother to the park. Despite Adam apologizing, Nick called his brother a disgrace to the Newman family.
Nick left, and Victoria came along and gave Adam a difficult time. She said she didn’t buy Adam’s turnaround, but Adam let his sister know they were having a personal issue. Victoria apologized for jumping to conclusions, surprising Adam. She admitted she’d told Victor she’d give Adam a chance, which is why she apologized.
As they talked, Adam updated Victoria about their dad’s memory issues. When Adam left, Victoria called Nick to ask him to meet, but he wasn’t in the mood. Victoria insisted it was important, and he reluctantly agreed.
At Crimson Lights, Sally (Courtney Hope) updated Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) on Adam’s kiss. Chloe told Sally to stop being so hard on herself. Sally admitted that she told Nick, and they broke up. Sally wasn’t sure how she felt, and Chloe urged her to be sincere with Nick and things would work out. She felt certain that Sally’s heart would tell her Nick was her future, but Sally wasn’t convinced.
As Chloe tried to talk Sally into making things right with Nick, Adam walked into the coffee shop. Sally got up to go, and Adam tried to stop her, but Sally refused. Chloe confronted Adam for ruining everything. He suggested that she shoot him again…with better aim.
“Oh, for God’s sake. What have you done now?” Sharon asked. She urged Adam to let Sally go, but he said something had happened between Nick and Sally. He insisted that he and Sally belonged together, and Sharon wasn’t impressed that Adam didn’t care who he hurt.
Sally paced at the park and left Nick a voicemail, begging him to work things out.
Y&R Recap: Fury Unleashed
Nick and Victoria sat down at a table at the GCAC. Victoria told him about Victor’s potential mental decline. However, Nick didn’t think it was a big deal. Nick suggested his sister just deal with the new situation at work and stop worrying about their father’s mind. However, Victoria insisted their dad was in a crisis.
Back at Newman Media, Nikki jumped when Claire (Hayley Erin) asked if everything was okay. Claire had made Nikki some tea, and she urged her boss to open up about whatever was bothering her, but Nikki declined.
Nick went and punched some of his anger out on the punching bag. Victor walked in and asked Nick to talk to him.
Victoria went to the office. She sat behind the desk, looking at the photos across the way. She picked up one of her and Victor and smashed it.
