The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, December 6, 2023, brings Jordan resurfacing in Genoa City as Nikki struggles.
Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Also in this episode, Lily and Devon decided not to rehire Nate at Chancellor Winters. Nick called Victoria to warn her. Victor and Nikki realized the song from the unknown number was from her stripper days. Finally, Nate got Audra to tell him what she and Tucker had planned. Now, let’s dig deeper into what went down.
Mysteries And Worries
Lily (Christel Khalil) ran into Nick (Joshua Morrow) on the patio at Crimson Lights. She wanted to know why he was in pain, but Nick didn’t want to talk about it.
Quickly, Lily turned the conversation to Nate, and Nick didn’t have anything nice to say about her cousin. Lily briefly defended Nate, which surprised Nick. He told her in no uncertain terms that Nate was a snake and deserved to be fired. Devon (Bryton James) walked in and agreed with Nick, asking Lily if they could talk. Nick left after receiving a text from Victor.

At the ranch, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) convinced Victor (Eric Braeden) that she needed to go to an AA meeting alone, so he went to the office. Nikki showed up at her meeting, and she told them all about her ordeal. Afterward, she received another call from an unknown number with stripper music playing.
Lily and Devon discussed Nate. She played Devil’s advocate for their cousin, but Devon remained steadfast in his opposition to bringing him back. Esther (Kate Linder) brought them some cookies, and she gushed about how great it was to see them getting along again. She even mentioned Nate returning, making everything perfect. Ultimately, they decided to nix his return.
Mysteries Unraveled
Nick met Victor at Newman Enterprises. They discussed their worries about Nikki, and Nick asked his dad to tell him about Eve Howard. He didn’t want to, but Victor ultimately explained how Eve had tried to kill him by poisoning him. Nick and Victor agreed that they had to find Jordan, and Victor urged his son that they should stick together as a family.
Later, Victor met Nikki at the GCAC, and she updated him on her AA meeting. She didn’t love the feelings that going brought up. Victor promised to be beside Nikki every step of the way as she battled alcoholism again. She appreciated him, and as they talked, Nikki ignored another unknown number and she told Victor what was happening.
Victor and Nikki entered the jazz bar, and Victor asked the piano player to help them identify the song. She hummed a bit of the song to him, and he recognized it as “Kitty’s Bounce.” Once the piano player played it, Nikki realized it was a number she used to dance to. They presumed it was Jordan trying to break Nikki.
Nick went to Society, and he called Victoria. He let her know that he was worried about her, especially with Jordan being out there still. Somebody watched him from outside as he sat at the bar.
Later, Jordan (refresh yourself about her recent dramatic revelation here) walked into a hotel room (that looked an awful lot like the one Phyllis killed Jeremy Stark in), taking off her disguise. She smiled evilly.
Family Is Everything
At the GCAC bar, Tucker (Trevor St. John) joined Nate (Sean Dominic) without being asked. Nate wasn’t interested in talking to Tucker, but the older man didn’t care. He congratulated Nate on his plan with Victor, and once again, Nate promised he’d merely been looking after Victor’s best interests.
Nate was furious when he realized Tucker was part of Audra’s recent job offer (find out how Audra really feels according to her portrayer). He demanded to talk to her immediately, and Nate went upstairs to her room, and Tucker was there. Tucker left, and Nate confronted Audra for including him in Tucker’s schemes. She didn’t see what the big deal was, but Nate demanded details about the new venture.
As they talked, Nate intuited that the company Tucker was going after was Chancellor-Winters, but Audra denied it. That led Nate to realize it was Jabot. Audra told him he didn’t have many other options, and Nate got a text from Devon to meet.
Nate showed up to meet Lily and Devon on the patio at Crimson Lights. Esther said it warmed her heart to see them all together. Lily and Devon asked Nate to take a seat.
