Young and the Restless: Suspicions

At the jazz club, Mamie (Veronica Redd) told Jill (Jess Walton) that all she wanted was to spend time with her family. However, Jill called her out on having more reasoning behind buying Victor’s shares.

Devon (Bryton James) told Mamie that Nate (Sean Dominic) wasn’t involved in Chancellor-Winters, and Lily (Christel Khalil) agreed. Mamie claimed she knew Dru and Neil would want her to help them heal the rifts in the family.

Mamie accused Jill of only seeing shadows and secrets, and she threw a lot of shade at her old nemesis. Jill doubted Mamie’s motives. They bickered back and forth, and Jill just wanted to know Mamie’s real motives. Mamie said that Victor had told her about the possibility of Chancellor-Winters going public.

Eventually, details that Mamie approached Victor came out, and Jill yelled, wanting to know what it would take to buy out Mamie. All Mamie wanted was to support her family, and she begged they stop talking about business, which Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Lily seconded. Mamie invited Jill to stay, and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) pointed out they all had big personalities. Ultimately, Jill agreed to stay.

At the bar, Devon told Jill he wondered why Mamie had been so secretive, but Lily urged them to focus on family and friends that night, and she begged Jill to please try. At a table, Mamie complimented Nate and Victoria as Abby listened. She told Nate that she saw a lot of Neil in him.

Victoria stepped away to take a call, and Mamie noted that Nate hadn’t told her he was involved with Victoria. Abby also stepped away. Mamie wondered if Victoria was the reason for Nate and Elena’s breakup, but he played coy. He did let his aunt know he was happier than he’d been in a long time.

Devon told Abby he was worried about Mamie being so secretive. Abby tried to reassure him, but Devon didn’t seem convinced. Elsewhere, Jill congratulated Mamie on how far she’d come since working at the Abbott house.

Young and the Restless Recap: In The Middle

Lily met up with Daniel (Michael Graziadei) at her place. He suggested that Jill was making too big of a deal out of things. However, Lily said their rivalry went way back, and she was stuck in the middle. He tried to reassure her, and Lily reluctantly let him as they started making out.

At the jazz lounge, Nate told Victoria he was worried that Jill and Mamie wouldn’t find common ground. However, Victoria was concerned about Nate jumping ship and returning to Chancellor-Winters. Nate insisted he wasn’t tempted.

Jill joined Devon and Abby at the Chancellor mansion. Jill asked after Ashley and Tucker, and Abby went to check on Dominic. Jill and Devon chatted, and she admitted she was happy that Deovn and Abby lived there. Jill said she felt Katherine’s presence in the home.

They sat down, and Jill admitted that seeing Mamie opened up old wounds of her time with the Abbotts. She wanted Devon’s honest take on Mamie’s moves, and Devon admitted he was surprised and didn’t love the secrecy. Jill insisted Mamie had something up her sleeve.

Mamie enjoyed some champagne in her suite. She got a phone call and told the mystery person that “they don’t have a clue” about what was going on, and she relayed that things went perfectly.

Y&R Recap: Loving Plans

Jack (Peter Bergman) rented Society for a private party for just him and Diane (Susan Walters). They discussed their upcoming wedding celebration. They danced and enjoyed each other.

As they chatted, Jack suggested they have a vow renewal in front of family and friends. Diane had reservations, but Jack talked her into it. After a while, ate and toasted their love and their family. Diane wondered if Kyle would stand up as Jack’s best man.

She urged Jack to fire Billy and give the job to Kyle, but Jack couldn’t do that even though he desperately wanted Kyle involved in Jabot. Diane reminded Jack that Billy made questionable choices in the past, but Jack supported his brother. Jack also reminded Diane that ousting Billy would be bad for how things looked at the company.

After a bit more back and forth, Jack suggested that they turn the topic back to their love, and they toasted. They returned home and made love.
