The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, December 7, 2023, brings Jill doing everything in her power to keep her company safe from Tucker.
Also in this episode, Tucker tried to get Mamie to team up with him again. Diane had an epiphany about Tucker’s so-called plan, and Jack and Billy agreed. Lily and Devon rehired Nate before Lily got an SOS call from Maddie. Now, let’s dig deeper into what happened.
At Society, Jill (Jess Walton) tried to ignore Tucker (Trevor St. John), but he refused to be ignored. He sat down, and they sparred, and then Mamie (Veronica Redd) showed up. They all had words, and Tucker left.
Jill and Mamie talked, and Jill noted she’d do anything to get Tucker out of their lives. Mamie was shocked that it seemed like Jill suggested they team up with each other.

At the Abbott mansion, Billy (Jason Thompson) told Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) that his mom was worried about Chancellor-Winters and Tucker’s plans. He said Jill was all alone and needed help. Jack instantly worried his brother would leave the company.
However, Billy had no intention of leaving Jabot. Instead, he wanted to team up with Chancellor Winters to bring down Tucker. Diane had an epiphany. What if Tucker didn’t even have a plan, and all he was doing was playing mind games to try to drive them crazy with worry? Jack agreed she might be onto something.
Jill walked in uninvited, and she crowed over Billy returning to Chancellor-Winters, but he set her straight. Instead, he told her their thought about Tucker not really having a plan, which she had sensed too. The group decided to try to fight fire with fire, hoping to push Tucker over the edge.
Meanwhile, Tucker found Mamie at the GCAC, and he wanted to talk. Of course, Mamie wasn’t too interested in hearing what he had to say. He got her attention by telling her he had something to say about Jill.
Tucker told Mamie that he was concerned because Jill had her back up against the wall. He felt she would do something outrageous.
On the patio at Crimson Lights, Nate (Sean Dominic) sat down to talk to Devon (Bryton James) and Lily (Christel Khalil). He worried they wouldn’t hire him back at Chancellor-Winters, but they surprised him by saying they wanted to bring him back. Of course, his new position wouldn’t be in the C-suite. (Refresh yourself on why he was fired in the first place here.)
Lily got a call, so Devon and Nate talked as she stepped away. Nate started complaining almost instantly that Devon would be breathing down his neck, and they argued. Lily came back in, shaken because Maddie was on lockdown at school due to a wildfire. She left, and the cousins agreed that family was all that mattered.
At home, Lily prepared to go to Maddie, and Daniel (Michael Graziadei) showed up. He cleared his schedule to go with her, but Lily talked him out of it since he had a big launch coming up.
