The Y&R recap for Thursday, November 17, 2022, brings several confrontations, a homecoming, a huge realization, and so much more.
Y&R Recap Highlights
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) clashed at Society. Elsewhere, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) got her fresh start at her new apartment with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Sharon Rosales’s (Sharon Case) help. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) finally learned what her boyfriend had really done for Chelsea, and Noah Newman explained Audra Charles’s (Zuleyka Silver) miscarriage to Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang). Now, let’s take a deeper dive into what happened.
Young and the Restless: Future Plans
Sally and Nick talked to Adam at the bar at Society. Sally mentioned she’d tried to stay friends with Adam, but he rejected that notion. Instead, Adam lashed out at Sally when she said, “Nick and me.” Adam insisted what they had couldn’t be real because the only woman Nick ever loved was Sharon, which made Sally merely Nick’s latest substitute. Sally seemed disgusted by her ex-boyfriend.
Sally and Nick sat at a table, and they flirted over appetizers. Nick reassured her that he wasn’t hung up on Sharon like Adam suggested, and Sally insisted that his co-parenting relationship with both Sharon and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) impressed her. Nick revealed that he was happy at long last with is life except for one thing — somebody to share it with.

Of course, Nick backtracked, letting Sally know that he didn’t have expectations of her or anything. She didn’t seem too concerned over his declaration, and they appeared to be on the cusp of moving forward with their burgeoning relationship.
Y&R Recap: A New Beginning
Chelsea was at her new apartment, and Billy and Sharon showed up with all her things from the hotel. She was happy they took care of that, but Chelsea also worried that Sharon should be helping Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) move into the tack house. Sharon said she’d already been by there to help, and now she was there to help Chelsea.
They discussed that Chelsea felt bad about not having a safehaven to land at this point in her life, and she lamented that it’d been a while since she had a home. Sharon said she hoped that the apartment would be Chelsea’s home. They also discussed Chelsea’s readiness to let Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) know what really happened with her, and although she was worried, Chelsea said she was ready to tell him the truth. Of course, Adam remained a concern, but even Billy said he believed Adam loved Connor and would do what was best. Billy got a text from Lily, so he left, but Sharon stayed.
They talked a bit more about Chelsea’s recovery and how she was feeling. Later, Chelsea called Adam and asked him to bring Connor by her place later. Although he was wary, he ultimately agreed to do what Chelsea wanted to do.
When Adam and Connor arrived at Crimson Lights, Sharon was downstairs, so she talked with the little boy a bit. Connor went to get a treat for Chelsea, and Adam thanked Sharon for helping out his ex-wife so much. They also touched on letting Chelsea go at her own pace with telling Connor. Adam still wasn’t fully convinced, but Sharon urged him to do what Chelsea needed, especially since her doctor was fully behind her plans.
After a bit, Adam and Connor knocked on the apartment door, and Chelsea answered. She tearfully hugged an anxious Connor, who told his mom he’d been so worried about her and he wondered why she’d been avoiding him.
As for Billy, he met Lily at Chancellor Park. Lily seemed standoffish with her boyfriend, but Billy finally explained what happened with Chelsea since she’d given him the go-ahead. Lily seemed shocked that things had gotten so bad for Chelsea, and she revealed that in prison she got depressed, but even through all that she never got suicidal. Then she admitted how much Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) moving near her had helped her get through it all.
Lily also seemed to realize that not only did Billy help Chelsea through a bad time and into recovery, but that he’d actually saved her life. Although she still seemed a bit frustrated at the situation, she couldn’t say what Billy did was wrong.
Y&R Recap: Heartbreak
Also at Crimson Lights, Allie confronted Noah about seeing him with Audra at Glam Club earlier. He apologized and offered to tell her what was really going on, but he wanted to go somewhere private. They ended up back at the club, and Noah told Allie the whole story of Audra getting pregnant and losing the baby when they broke up.
Allie had compassion and understood how devastating it must have been for Noah to learn he could’ve had an entire alternative timeline if things had been different. Noah admitted his only regret was that he had handled his breakup with Audra so poorly. However, he reiterated that Audra was in his past and Allie was his present and his future.
Their talk seemed to satisfy Allie, so they kissed, and Audra walked in and saw it. Noah looked up, and he and Audra locked eyes. She turned around and left, and he looked conflicted.
