The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, November 21, 2023, brings Cole’s shocking arrival, supposedly at Nikki’s request.
Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Also in this episode, Claire told Victor, Nick, and Victoria about Nikki’s supposed health woes as Nikki fell off the wagon. Ashley wanted to invite Tucker and Devon to Thanksgiving, but Jack forbade it, and Diane took his side. Finally, Kyle tried to convince Audra and Tucker he was back in on their plan. Now let’s dig deeper into what happened.
Sinister Plans
At Newman Enterprises, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) called Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). She left her mom a message, saying she really needed some advice. Claire (Hayley Erin) showed up and nearly bumped into Victoria.
They went into Victor’s (Eric Braeden) office, and Claire informed them Nikki had a seizure and had to go to the hospital. Victor wanted to find Nick (Joshua Morrow), and he called to prepare the jet to take them to Nikki.

They met Nick at the GCAC, and Claire told them what supposedly happened. Victor wanted to talk to Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) to tell her about Nikki’s MS, so Claire called her. Jordan got on the phone, but she pretended like their connection was bad to avoid giving Victor the name of the hospital Nikki was at. They all left to get on the jet to go to Nikki.
At the lake house, Nikki was drunk. She fought with herself to stop drinking the vodka, but she failed. Nikki finished off the bottle and collapsed into bed. She woke up when the bathroom door mysteriously opened all on its own.
Downstairs, Cole (J Eddie Peck) knocked on the door. He entered, yelling for Nikki, telling her he’d gotten her text about Victoria.
Thanksgiving Tradition
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Jack (Peter Bergman) argued over Ashley’s desire to invite Tucker and Devon (Bryton James) to the house for a drink on Thanksgiving. Diane (Susan Walters) took Jack’s side when he said he didn’t want to have Tucker there for their family tradition.
Ashley told her brother that she would go to the club to meet Devon and Tucker then, and Jack let her know he’d miss her. Diane was sorry to hear that they wouldn’t get to have their first Thanksgiving as a family without all the animosity. She hoped that Ashley wouldn’t spend the whole day away. As they talked, Ashley expressed her surprise that Diane seemed sincere.
At the jazz club, Tucker (Trevor St. John), Audra (Zuleyka Silver), and Kyle (Michael Mealor) worked on bringing Kyle back in on the plan. To prove he was for real about rejoining them, he played them a recording of Ashley saying she planned to manipulate Tucker. They talked more, and Kyle didn’t like that Tucker wanted to destroy the company, but ultimately he agreed to work with them. When Kyle left, Audra walked him out, and he let her know she didn’t trust him, but she found that appealing.
Double Crosses
Later, Kyle returned to the Abbott mansion, and he updated his mom on being back “in” with Tucker and Audra. When Jack walked in, he complained that Tucker was still invading their family, but Kyle suggested they focus on being thankful.
At the club, Tucker sat alone, and he voice texted Devon, asking if they could spend Thanksgiving together. Audra returned, pointing out it was just the two of them, and Tucker complained about how lame Thanksgiving was anyway.
