The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, November 6, 2023, featured Mariah and Tessa in awe as Aria finally got to hear their voices.
Also in this episode, Nick ratted out Adam, Claire acted rather suspicious, and Victor hauled everyone into the office. Now, let’s take a deeper look into what went down.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) were on pins and needles while waiting for Aria’s appointment. They had a coffee with Sharon (Sharon Case) to voice their nervousness. Sharon assured them all would be well and boasted about what great moms they were.
Finally, the time came, and they swept Aria off to the doctor. In the office, Dr. George (Marilyn R. Kravitz) coached them on the ins and outs of caring for Aria and her hearing aids before putting them in.

Once she did, nothing seemed to happen at first. But, once Tessa started singing, Aria realized what was going on. She was hearing her mom. Mariah and Tessa were beyond thrilled. They went straight back to Crimson Lights so the baby could hear Sharon’s voice, too.
Over at the office, Claire (Hayley Erin) found Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) deep in thought. She tried to pry and get to the bottom of what was on her boss’s mind, but Nikki said it was family issues and shut her down. Claire slinked away after offering her ear should Nikki ever need it.
Meanwhile, in Victor’s (Eric Braeden) office, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) called him out on a bad business deal. Victor took great offense to Victoria questioning his decisions. He took even more offense when she brought up his health. The greatest offense happened when Nate (Sean Dominic) arrived and offered to drive him to the club to meet with Nick and Adam.
Victoria was gobsmacked by her father’s fury. Nate then sat her down and told her all about his secret meeting with Victor. He told her about his recommendation for Victor to be sent away to a clinic for a diagnosis.
Oh, and while he was gone, Victoria could reclaim her CEO position, at least for the interim. The only catch? Victor wanted to clear it with Adam. Victoria was quite offended by that last part and ran off to confront her father.
Nate hung back and was treated to a meeting with Claire in the hallway. After some idle chatter, Claire asked if they could see each other outside of the office. Nate tried to keep it professional and agreed to a coffee…one day…you know, for work purposes.
Claire was on a high when she later went to Crimson Lights. She chatted up Sharon for a few minutes before taking a cryptic call from her Aunt Jordan.
As for Nick and Adam, they discussed the latter’s plan to diagnose their daddy on the sly. He did eventually reluctantly agree to keep his mouth shut, though. An agreement he almost immediately reneged on when Victor showed up.
Victor was disgruntled by his youngest son trying to pull that stunt and let his sons have it. He went to storm off but Victoria got there just in time. That was enough for Victor. He hauled his children to the office and summoned Nate and Nikki too. It was time for him to tell the truth.
