The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, July 2 promise a day of uninvited guests, new allies, and odd secrets in Genoa City. Set your DVR’s because you will not want to miss a minute!
Mama’s Moving In!
Kyle’s (Micahel Mealor) in for a big day when he comes face to face with Mama Rosales. Celeste (Eve LaRue) does what all good mothers do and gives him the third degree. She’s calling everything into question and some of it is not pretty.
Celeste turns his whole world upside down. He gets booted from the apartment, his wedding binder and all its grand plans broken down, and Celeste taking full control. She is Lola’s (Sasha Calle) mother and mama always knows best.
(Except apparently when her daughter spends six weeks in a coma needing a liver transplant. Did Arturo and Rey even call her? Did she wonder why Lola stopped calling every day?)
Love Me Again
Speaking of overbearing mothers, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) tries to put her relationship with Summer (Hunter King) back together.
She’s conquering the corporate world, she has her boss wrapped around her little finger, and even a new minion in the form of Kevin. All that’s left is making things right with her Supergirl.
Unfortunately, that’s not an easy task. Summer’s too busy slacking off with Theo (Tyler Johnson). The city fair is in town and they play hooky to day drink, play carnival games, and have themselves a grand time.

Kevin’s going to be one busy man. Adam summons him with a whole new mission. He is to follow Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and find out everything he can about his ex. Adam’s still very much in love and needs all the leverage he can to fight for her heart.
Team Chick
Instead of running from town, Chelsea decides to take a little detour. She visits the park, runs into Nick (Joshua Morrow), and decides to spend the day with him and Christian.
They visit the fair, take a tour of Nick’s estate, and she even agrees to have dinner with her ex. The former couple even talk about taking on Adam together
They will not be the only ones gearing up to take on Adam. Chelsea’s husband arrives town and he’s ready to battle any man who gets in his way!
Watch for the first appearance of Calvin (John Burke) when he bangs down Adam’s door! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
