In this historical Young and the Restless recap, originally penned by Alina Adams, it’s June 13, 2019, and Victor Newman is about to make clear who his favorite child is.
The Young and the Restless Historical Recap Highlights
Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) called Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and Abby Newman Abbott eventually Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) for a family meeting. Victor admitted that he has a blood disease – that he intends to beat. And he does. Nactch!
Victoria’s first thought was that Daddy shouldn’t worry, she’ll take care of the company while he’s getting treatment.
Abby couldn’t believe how quick her sister is to jump on the opportunity to consolidate her power (why we have no idea). Victoria denied it and Victor shooed them out of the room so he could talk to Adam.
Victor told Adam he was the most qualified to take over the company. Correct. Except Adam didn’t want it. He told Victor to make Victoria happy. She’s the child more likely to do whatever he wanted.
Nick was furious at his father and refuses to work with Adam. He also told Adam that he knew Adam met with Kevin (Greg Rikaart).
The Young and the Restless Recap: June 13, 2019
Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) announced their engagement to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). She was happy for them. Mariah told them she’s taken over Neil’s PR company, and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) would be her first client. They are happy for her. Happiness for everyone! You know, until happiness for no one except Teriah.
Y&R Historical Recap: Work In Progress
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) read the novel she’s working on to Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams). It featured avatars for Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), and Victoria. It’s terribly written, with lines like “her lips were as red as blood!” Dina loved it and begged for more. This encouraged Traci to keep going.
