The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, December 15, 2023, brings Tucker making a big reval about his future plans for Jabot and the Abbotts.
Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Also in this episode, Ashley agreed to terms for selling her part of the company to Tucker. Diane tried to get Jack to oust Billy, but he refused. Kyle worked to convince Audra that they had to double cross Tucker. Billy gave Chelsea a gift, and then arrived at a big decision. Chance offered Summer a spare ticket to a concert, and Daniel urged her to take it. Now let’s dig deeper into what happened.
Games Abbotts Play
Jack (Peter Bergman) wasn’t thrilled when Tucker (Trevor St. John) arrived at the Abbott mansion to meet Ashley (Eileen Davidson). Despite Tucker’s intention to assure them of no longer being a threat to Jabot, Jack remained skeptical, declaring he didn’t buy it. The unexpected agreement between Diane (Susan Walters) and Ashley surprised Tucker, who wondered where Kyle and Billy were.
Tucker expressed his desire for peace, emphasizing that he wanted to focus on his new business and let go of negativity. However, Jack and Ashley rejected the idea, and Jack declared that they wouldn’t accept Tucker’s peace offering. Despite Tucker extending a hand in a symbolic gesture, Jack insisted he put it down, expressing frustration with the ongoing war and anticipation of Tucker’s next move.

Tucker claimed he felt drained and offered to buy Ashley’s half of the company, vowing never to go after Jabot again. After a brief negotiation, Ashley agreed to the deal, shaking hands with Tucker as he exited. Jack remained uneasy, suspecting that Tucker was playing them.
As Ashley left to call her lawyer, Jack and Diane discussed Billy’s role in their plan. Jack asserted that Billy and their son belonged where they were, and he wouldn’t argue otherwise, despite Diane’s misgivings about her brother-in-law.
Game Plan
Meanwhile, at the GCAC bar, Tucker texted Audra (Zuleyka Silver) to meet him. Upstairs, in Audra’s suite, Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Audra had sex, and afterward, Kyle expressed concern about Tucker’s lack of information regarding the plan against Jabot. Audra urged him to step up and prove his loyalty, emphasizing he needed to prove himself by giving Tucker inside information about Jabot. (See how Kyle decided to double-cross Tucker here).
Kyle questioned Tucker’s true intentions, wondering if he was manipulating everyone. Audra, uncertain but trusting for now, suggested that Kyle provide valuable information to understand Tucker’s game plan better. Kyle worried about the implications for Audra, who reassured him with her fallback plan at Newman Media.
After their conversation, Tucker unexpectedly showed up, questioning why Kyle was there instead of at work. Kyle, frustrated by the lack of information, threatened to walk unless he knew the game plan. Audra joined the conversation, pressing Tucker for details. Tucker yelled as he revealed his whole plan. All he wanted was for Kyle to provide details about a new product, Tucker’s company would make and launch the product first. Jack would realize that he had a mole at Jabot, and Tucker intended to frame either Diane or Billy as a mole and disrupt the company.
After he left, Kyle and Audra questioned the credibility of Tucker’s plan. Kyle warned her that Tucker might betray her as well. Later, in the dining room, Tucker agreed to Ashley’s terms for selling her part of their company. Ashley announced the deal’s completion, and Jack expressed confidence in nearing victory against Tucker.
Big Decisions
Billy (Jason Thompson) arrived at Society with gifts for Chelsea, expressing gratitude for her guidance in handling the situation with Tucker. He acknowledged the need to resist the temptation to engage and hinted at considering an offer from his mother to avoid the ongoing conflict at Jabot. In the end, even though he’d suggested a trip abroad for the new year, Chelsea realized that he’d likely be sticking around Genoa City to help his mom.
At Crimson Lights, Summer (Allison Lanier) encountered Chance (Conner Floyd), who revealed he was taking Sharon to a concert. (Read about another time Summer and Chance got cozy here). However, after Sharon called to cancel, Chance offered Summer a spare VIP ticket. Summer hesitated, torn between her desire to attend the concert and the potential messiness that could arise.
Daniel (Michael Graziadei) showed up, and he encouraged her to face her feelings for Chance head-on, advising her not to let unrequited attraction lead to a cycle of hope and despair. Ultimately, Summer decided to seize the opportunity, calling Chance to accept the ticket.
