Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) subjects herself to a grilling by an assemblage of Abbotts. Her answers seem to mollify Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), but neither Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) nor Abby Carlton Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) is impressed… Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) pays her extended family a surprise visit.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) deduces that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is The Grinning Soul… Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is delighted to see that Victoria has ditched the initial necklace gifted to her by Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
Allie meets her kin; Traci and Abby set about making sure she feels at home… Diane reveals herself to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case); both are stunned… Kyle told Diane that he intends to return to Milan posthaste.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) voice concern that Billy is feeling like an odd man out at the office, but Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) dismisses them out of hand… Nate treated Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) to a day of pampering.
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is remembered by his nearest and dearest… Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) mourns the might-have-beens where she and Rey were concerned… Allie confesses to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that she’s in need of some TLC after yet another sound rejection from her mother.
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) both contemplate retirement, but neither one is ready… Kyle doesn’t rule out the possibility of full rapprochement with his mother… Diane finds a new ally in an old friend – Michael.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) plan to reunite Ashland and Victoria, in the hopes that it will result in a furious Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) appointing Adam CEO of Newman Enterprises.
Sharon encouraged Nick to accept Ashland’s offer to donate $250 million to New Hope in Rey’s name; Nick does just that, but on the proviso that no one learns Ashland is the donor… After deciding to stay put in Genoa City, Kyle finds himself conscripted into the role of an officiant for Maria Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) wedding.
Adam and Sally set about pushing Victoria and Ashland back into each other’s orbit… Crystal Porter (Morgan Obenreder) and Tessa reconnected… Nikki issues a threat – Ashland had better steer clear of Victoria OR ELSE!
