The Young and the Restless recaps for February 6 – 10, 2023, featured familial discord, fractious couplings, a paternity pickle, and so much more.
Lily (Christel Khalil) successfully sells Jill (Jess Walton) on Omega Sphere. Later, she overhears Daniel (Michael Graziadei) castigating Devon (Bryton James). Devon makes Lily a proposal: give him back Hamilton-Winters, ditch Chancellor, and come work for him. When Lily balks, Devon once again accuses her of prioritizing business over family.
Tucker (Trevor St. John) encouraged a down-and-out Adam (Mark Grossman) to keep hope alive…Sally (Courtney Hope) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) finally address the elephant in the room: Adam could be the father of her unborn baby…Adam enquires after Sally to Nick who warns him away…Tucker reaches out to Ashley (Eileen Davidson)…Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) brainstorm baby names. Delphine phones with the news: she’s in labor!
Memories of his smooch with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) induce a loving feeling in Nate (Sean Dominic) — Elena (Brytni Sarpy) reaps the benefits. When approached, Victoria makes it clear she has no interest in discussing the buss…Victoria insists on Nate attending a meeting where the topic of discussion is acquiring McCall Unlimited.
Tessa visits Elena. Ostensibly she’s there to offer an update — Delphine’s labor pains were actually Braxton Hicks contractions, but she and Mariah are preparing to jaunt off the woman’s side — but she’s really in want of a pep-talk; Elena is happy to provide one.
Sally arranges a paternity test. After being pressed, Nick admits he’s not enamored with the idea of cluing Adam into Sally’s condition. Sally resolves to keep Adam in the dark unless absolutely necessary…Jack (Peter Bergman) convinces Diane (Susan Walters) that it would behoove her greatly to move a few personal belongings into the manse…Jack blasts Victor (Eric Braeden) for involving Kyle (Michael Mealor) in his scheme to undermine Adam.
Nate floats the idea of employing Audra (Zuleyka Silver) as a double agent against Tucker. Michael (Christian Le Blanc) is wary, but Victor and Victoria approve…Audra tries to get Tucker to admit the truth about his massive debts but gets nowhere…Ashley responds negatively to Tucker’s voicemail.
Daniel and Chance (Conner Floyd) commiserated over their upended lives…Nick intercedes with Jill on Sally’s behalf resulting in a rescheduled pitch session. Sally and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) mightily impress Jill.
Jack got proof of Kyle and Victor’s collusion…Diane pitched herself as the new head of Marchetti Home…Adam cautioned Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) against associating with Billy (Jason Thompson). Chelsea blasted Adam in turn…Victoria proffered that Victor should cut his losses where Adam is concerned.
Adam’s announcement that he intends to leave Jabot throws Jack, Kyle, and Summer for a loop…Audra suggests that she and Tucker forge an actual friendship and forgo the meaningless hookups. The two make dinner plans; this pleases Nate and Victoria to no end…Daniel confides in Lily his plan to fire Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and then does exactly that; Phyllis is incredulous.
