Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) were reunited. He confessed to faking his death. When Abby broaches the subject of their return to Genoa City, Chance insists that he must complete his mission.
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) cautioned Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) against rekindling his and Phyllis Summers’s (Michelle Stafford) love affair…Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) assures a concerned Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that he hasn’t grown too attached to Dominic.
Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) castigates Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) for endangering ChancComm. Afterward, she asks Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to succeed her as CEO of Chancellor Industries…Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) learns that Newman/Locke has made an offer to acquire ChancComm. He accuses Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) of betraying him and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Abby implores Chance to come home, but he remains adamant that he will stay and get justice for his fallen comrades. Abby tells Ashley her location; when Ashley arrives, Abby reveals that Chance is alive but planning to return to active duty. In a bid to change his mind, Abby shows Chance a live stream of Dominic.
Phyllis attempts to lift Billy’s spirits – payback for his attempt to steer her in the right direction in her dream. Jack phones Phyllis, and they make plans to meet up when his personal business is concluded…Lily tells Billy of Jill’s offer and the suggestion that Billy joins the team – as Lily’s subordinate.
Ashley tells a stunned Jack that Chance is alive, but unwilling to make the return trip…After Abby issues another heart-felt plea, Chance agrees to board the Newman jet. He reveals himself to Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) during a video chat…Victor explains to Billy why he hates him so – Billy is a spoiled brat who’s never made anything of himself.
Billy begs Jill not to sell ChancComm to Newman Media, but she declares that the company will go to the highest bidder; he stalks off after insinuating she’s siding with the enemy over her own son.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is put out by Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) agreeing to design Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) album cover…Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) agree on a home base for their new law firm…Devon encourages Lily to take Jill up on her offer…Billy lets Lily know that he won’t be working for her at Chance Comm. Instead, he’s going to stick it to Adam and Victor.
Jill makes public her intention to sell ChancComm to the highest bidder…Word of Chance’s survival begins to disseminate…Chance and Abby come to collect Dominic from Devon – much to his chagrin.
