The Young and the Restless Recaps: Monday, June 27
Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) gave returning to the corporate world, Newman Enterprises to be specific, serious consideration; Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) offered him the benefit of her counsel… At her loved ones urging, an ailing Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) made an appointment with her doctor. Her eventual diagnosis? Nodules on her vocal cords.
Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) take a lap around the park together. When the twosome runs into Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), Noah finds it impossible to hide his disdain. Allie plays devil’s advocate in an attempt to referee the two… Phyllis Summers’s (Michelle Stafford) attempts to get Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) back on her side are a dismal failure. His attack on her character cuts Phyllis to her core.
Young and Restless Recaps: Tuesday, June 28
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) advises Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to ditch his podcast’s depressive tone… Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) took advantage of some downtime and checked into a room at The Grand Phoenix. Afterward, Lauren questions Chelsea about her seemingly strained relationship with Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson); Chelsea swears that they’ll ride it out.
Still riding the high of her new promotion, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) refused to let Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) wallow in worry that he was a mere placeholder for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)… In New York, Victoria told Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) that every investor she approached turned her down flat. Ashland assumes that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is to blame. Back in Genoa City, Victor informs his family of the subterfuge that he’s employed.
Y&R Recaps: Wednesday, June 29
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) approached Chelsea with a proposition – design a clothing line exclusively for Marchetti. Chelsea runs the idea by Chloe who hedges that Chelsea might be stretching herself too thin.
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) floated the idea of a medical-themed podcast to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Devon is enamored of the idea, but Nate worries that Elena will be taking on more than she can handle; she assures him that that is not the case. Nate tasks Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) with getting Elena out of contract with Newman Media.
Imani and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) discuss their mother’s predicament and swear to be there for one another… Summer and Kyle surprise Diane with a job offer; she happily accepts. The trio heads off to celebrate the development with Jack in tow. Phyllis walks in on the happy scene and isn’t pleased to hear the reason behind it.
The Young and the Restless Recaps: Thursday, June 30
Ashland transferred $250 million into a business account set up by Victoria. Later, Victoria ports the money over to her own private holdings, books the Newman jet for a flight back to Genoa City, and sets about packing… Sally offered Chloe a sympathetic ear… Adam had a set-to with Chelsea… Sally tells Adam she wants Chloe to be Newman Media’s COO. Adam blanches.
Y&R Recaps: Friday, July 1
Victoria blasts Ashland for his multitude of sins, then reveals that she’s been conning him with the expressed purpose of getting back the money he accepted from her family… Victor, Nick, and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) learn of Victoria’s imminent return home. Adam likewise hears of his sister’s plans. He concedes defeat much to Sally’s chagrin… Chloe and Chelsea bicker. Billy helps Chelsea gain some clarity.
