Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) cross paths at Crimson Lights. The awkwardness is palpable…Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) tells Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) about Victor’s (Eric Braeden) proposal that team up to sabotage Adam’s (Mark Grossman) efforts at Jabot…Victor tries and fails to make inroads with Adam.
Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) lulls Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) into a false sense of security…Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) returns from Chicago with a necklace pilfered from the Newman family’s safe. Summer insists that neither she nor Kyle be made privy to Diane and Jack’s subterfuge. Diane and Jack kiss.
Adam takes Billy to task for his continued involvement with Chelsea; Abby (Melissa Ordway) is forced to separate the pair…Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) bemoans his plethora of troubles to a sympathetic Abby. Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) begs Devon’s indulgence. Devon agrees to see his father. During their face-to-face, Devon strongly suggests that Tucker cut his losses and leave town.
Young and the Restless Recaps: Tuesday, January 17
Daniel and Tucker both advise Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to dispense with her hatred of Diane… Diane and Jack agree to accelerate their plan to frame Jeremy for theft…Summer and Kyle bickered over the former’s disinterest in Diane’s dilemmas… Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) offers Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) an ear to bend. He wondered whether or not he’d made the right career choice, and Sharon suggested that he take a leave of absence from the police department.

Y&R Recaps: Wednesday, January 18
Jeremy’s room is searched; several incriminating items including Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) purloined necklace are found. Jeremy promises to make Diane and Jack pay for crossing him…Kyle remained chagrined by Summer’s indifference to goings on… Tucker questions Phyllis about Daniel’s new, secret project; she is not forthcoming with details…When pressed by Lily and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), Devon remains adamant that he wants to untangle Hamilton-Winters from Chancellor.
The Young and the Restless Recaps: Thursday, January 19
Lily comes to Devon with a proposal: allow her and Jill to buy him out and recreate Hamilton Winters elsewhere. Devon balks. Abby and Devon agree to face their uncertain futures head-on and together…Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tess Porter (Cait Fairbanks) announce that expectant mother Delphine wants them to adopt her baby…Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) visited Chelsea and Connor with Johnny in tow. Billy joins the motley crew for dinner. The entire exercise perturbs Victoria.
Young and the Restless Recaps: Friday, January 20
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) confesses to Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) that she’s carrying his child…Victor and Kyle scheme against Adam…Nikki and Chance both deduce that something shady is afoot where Jeremy’s supposed thievery is concerned… Chance announces to Sharon that he can no longer stand being a detective.
