The Young and the Restless recaps for October 31 – November 4, 2022, showcase personal demons, personal growth — or lack thereof — problematic pasts, and so much more.
The Young and the Restless Recaps: Monday, October 31
A concerned Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) abandons Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to seek out Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). He finds her on the roof of The Grand Phoenix contemplating ending her life. Billy endeavors to talk Chelsea round, and when his efforts fail he snatches her back from the roof’s edge…
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) gives Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) the hard sell to assume the CEOship of Newman Media; she eventually wears down his resolve and he accepts… Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) comes upon Billy and Chelsea; Billy steers Chelsea away from the scene without providing a much-demanded explanation.
Young and the Restless Recaps: Tuesday, November 1
After catching Victoria and Nate with their heads together, Devon deduces that it was Victoria whom he cousin was feeding intel concerning the Chancellor-Winters IPO… Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) reassess their marriage. Devon provides a distraught Abby some comfort.
Billy summons Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) to Chelsea’s hotel room and relays the night’s events. Billy and Sharon set about convincing Chelsea to seek mental health counseling… Adam tries in vain to wring an explanation out of either Billy or Chelsea. Lily is likewise stymied by Billy’s invasiveness.
Y&R Recaps: Wednesday, November 2
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) return from their honeymoon; Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) apprises them of Diane Jenkins’s (Susan Walters) connections to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and Jeremy Stark (James Hyde)… Diane and Tucker spar over her preemptive confession and his determination to wrestle control of Jabot away from Jack.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) crow that Diane’s disclosure proves their crusade against her was justified; the trio are incredulous that Jack seems poised to still offer Diane the benefit of the doubt.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) updates Adam on her predicament: she’s out at Newman Media… Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) grouses to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Victoria that they’ve allowed their prejudices to cloud their judgment where Sally and Nate are concerned… Nicholas and Adam both offer to find Sally employment elsewhere, but she declines them both. Adam puts Nicholas on blast for not shielding Sally.
The Young and the Restless Recaps: Thursday, November 3
Sharon and Billy get Chelsea settled into a recovery facility… Lily balks at Billy’s expressed desire to be there for Chelsea… Devon and Lily reflected on life with Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John)… Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) returned from Boston intent on seeing whether or not it’s possible to reconcile with Nate; she’s less than impressed to learn that he’s now top dog at Newman Media… Devon shares his woes with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) via text, but she fails to respond.
Young and the Restless Recaps: Friday, November 4
Ashley employs subterfuge to lure Tucker into a false sense of security… Diane pours on the excuses to an exasperated Kyle. Like Jack before him, Kyle begins to wane where Diane is concerned… Jack takes Phyllis to task for her continued efforts to bring Diane to heel… Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) awakens with a fever.
