The Young and the Restless recaps for February 20 – 24, 2023 featured family division, a paternity pickle, and so much more.
With Victor’s (Eric Braeden) blessing, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) made moves to assume Tucker’s (Trevor St. John) debts. Much to her chagrin, someone has beaten her to the punch…Tucker is flummoxed to learn that an entity other than Newman Enterprises bought his debt. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) reveals that she is that entity.
Sally (Courtney Hope) is alerted that the results of her baby’s paternity test are in…Heather (Vail Bloom) cautions Daniel (Michael Graziadei) against pushing Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) to reconcile with him. Later, Daniel grouses to Lily (Christel Khalil) that he wants to abandon his gaming platform…Christine (Lauralee Bell) agrees to represent Devon (Bryton James) in his fight to reclaim Hamilton-Winters. When apprised of her brother’s move, Lily contacts Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and asks her to defend the company.
Sharon (Sharon Case) crows to Nick and Sally that Delphine has gone into labor — Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) are soon to be parents…Anxiously, Sally imagines two scenarios. In one, Adam is named the father of her child, and in the other, it’s Nicholas.
Adam helps Connor (Judah Mackey) create a family tree. Later, he’s chagrined to see the growing closeness between Connor and Billy (Jason Thompson)…Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) resolves to join Daniel at OmegaSphere…It’s official — Adam is the father of Sally’s baby. She fills the proud papa in on the truth, then insists that this changes nothing between them.
Victoria gave Audra (Zuleyka Silver) a new mission: find out who bought Tucker’s debt and why. Audra makes note of Nate (Sean Dominic) and Victoria’s chemistry…Ashley refuses to explain her decision to purchase his debts, but she does demand he negotiate with Newman Enterprises.
Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Allison Lainer) reconcile. Victor makes good on his promise to return the textile mills to Jabot…Jack (Peter Bergman) floats the idea of Billy taking on the position of co-CEO of Jabot. Over a brotherly lunch, Jack confesses that he and Diane (Susan Walters) are back together, and Billy cops to having feelings for Chelsea…Nick admits to being devastated by the paternity outcome.
Daniel bids Heather and Lucy adieu…Jeremy (James Hyde) strikes out in convincing Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to join forces with him…Chance (Conner Floyd) warned Jack and Diane that Jeremy was coming for them — and advised them not to engage. Jack suggests that he and Diane should go away together…Nate takes it upon himself to mediate between Lily and Devon; neither one thank him for his efforts.
