Phyllis Summers and Nate Hastings,
The Young and the Restless recaps for April 24 – April 28, 2023, are chock full of literal relative disasters and so much more.
Billy (Jason Thompson) encouraged Kyle (Michael Mealor) to prioritize Summer (Allison Lanier)…Ashley (Eileen Davidson) excoriated Jack (Peter Bergman) over his continued allegiance to Diane (Susan Walters)…Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Lily (Christel Khalil) awoke together after their night of lovemaking and decided to take a “whatever happens happens” approach moving forward.
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Billy make love…After an ego-crushing encounter with Audra (Zuleyka Silver), Tucker (Trevor St. John) officially signed away his company to Victor (Eric Braeden).
Nichols (Joshua Morrow) feels like the odd man out while Adam (Mark Grossman) and Sally (Courtney Hope) moon over their daughter’s (!) ultrasound. Later, he accidentally let slip to Victor that Adam and Sally are expecting a girl…Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Jack (Peter Bergman) set aside their differences in light of their decades-long friendship.
Ashley invited Tucker to move into the Abbott manse; he’d have his own room, of course. Tucker declines the offer when he rumbles that the invitation was issued purely to spite Jack. Ashley insists that it was made in good faith and kisses him when he demands that she admit she loves him as much as he loves her…Chance (Connor Floyd) learns that Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) body has been found and relays the news to Jack.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) learns that Victor has purchased McCall Unlimited…Nate (Sean Dominic) accepts Victoria’s offer to join her in Los Angeles on a work trip…Adam agrees to helm McCall Unlimited but only on the proviso that he be granted total autonomy from both his dad and Newman Enterprises; Victor blanches.
Jack informs Summer and Kyle of Jeremy’s murder…Diane proposes to Michael (Christian Le Blanc) that Phyllis and Jeremy framed her for the former’s murder…Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) reveals lures Summer to the park and reveals herself…Chance and Sharon (Sharon Case) go on their first official date. The venue: the Neil Winters Jazz Lounge!
Victoria and Nick both bemoan the other’s messy personal life…Nate informs Elena (Brytni Sarpy) of his upcoming business trip but neglects to mention that Victoria will be accompanying him…Jack fills Diane in on Jeremy’s death and implores her to marry him posthaste…Phyllis conscripts Summer to her anti-Diane crusade.
At Billy’s urging, Jack takes time to really mourn Phyllis…Tucker moves into the Abbott manse — much to Jack’s chagrin…A distraught Summer attempts to convince Daniel that Phyllis is actually alive but he dismisses her claims…Michael implores Lauren to share in his belief that Diane is innocent of Phyllis’s death but his efforts are for naught.
