The Young and the Restless recaps for March 13 – March 17, 2023, featured fanciful plotting, a touch of gaslighting, a bit of farce, and so much more.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Jeremy (James Hyde) cement their partnership and endeavor to draw Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) out of hiding. To that end, Phyllis claims to Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Allison Lanier) that Jeremy has erroneously decamped for Europe. Upon being apprised of the situation, Jack and Diane return to Genoa City, greet Kyle and Summer, and announce their engagement…Jeremy instructs Phyllis to purloin a few items belonging to Diane.
Audra (Zuleyka Silver) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) size one another up…Nate (Sean Dominic) works to Elena’s (Brytni Sarpy) concerns where his and Victoria’s relationship is concerned and takes exception when Elena mentions that it was Audra who spurred her on; Audra suitably covers… Elena and Victoria have a tense cross at Crimson Lights…Nate forgoes an after-hours meeting with Victoria and instead retires alongside Elena.
Kyle and Summer worry over his parents’ engagement…Phyllis’s behavior gives Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Diane cause for concern…Victoria warns Nick (Joshua Morrow) that Adam (Mark Grossman) cannot be trusted and proffers that Adam and Sally (Courtney Hope) make perfect sense as a couple, unlike Nick and Sally…Sally has a disconcerting dream about Adam and seeks comfort and assurance in Nick’s arms…Victoria makes an indecent proposal to Nate.
Though he does venture up to the room that Victoria has booked, Nate makes it clear that he has no intention of bedding her. Later, Nate insists to Elena that nothing untoward has transpired between him and Victoria…Tucker (Trevor St. John) throws down the gauntlet, swearing that he’ll never sell McCall Unlimited to Newman Enterprises. Adam asks Victor (Eric Braeden) to intervene. Victor meets with Devon (Bryton James) to discuss matters, and winds up coming face-to-face with a half-dressed Abby (Melissa Ordway)!
