At Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) urging, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) apprises Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) of his plan to make Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) think he’s backsliding into old, bad habits; Jack is aghast.
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) agrees to move in with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic)…Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) bristles over Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) connection with Dominic. Victor warns Chance against returning to the GCPD. Devon begins to ponder broadening the scope of his visitation rights to Dominic.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) exchange Christmas gifts; they both agree they don’t want to lose their friendship…Jack accuses Adam of maligning Billy’s reputation out of spite.
Young and Restless Recaps: Tuesday, December 21
Under pressure from Victor, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) admits to supplying Adam with videos of Billy unraveling. Victor encourages her to cease and desist, and keep her eye squarely on her work at Newman Media.
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is the odd man out when Nick and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) wax nostalgic about Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) childhood…Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam agree to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas morning together with Connor.

Billy and Lily put on a performance for Adam at Society. As hoped, Adam takes the bait. Later, he asks Sally to resume spying on Billy. She follows him to a dive bar and captures what appears to be Billy drinking and gambling.

A large, festive contingency descends upon chez Chancellor, including Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), Jack, Phyllis, and Devon. The latter gifts Dominic an heirloom music box…Jack invites Phyllis to Christmas Eve at the Abbott manse…Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) discuss starting a family.
The Young and the Restless Recaps: Thursday, December 23
Nick extends an olive branch to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi); Ashland excepts…Nick confides in Sharon that he’s questioning his place and purpose…Connor and Noah bond over their love of hockey…Adam invites Sally to join him for an after-hours drink. Chelsea happens upon the two; she and Sally engage in a game of one-upmanship much to Adam’s amusement. When parting ways with Sally, Adam gives her a peck on the cheek.
Y&R Recaps: Friday, December 24
In a very special episode, Nick Newman enters a dream world in which his loved ones do their utmost to help him achieve inner peace. Upon waking, he makes plans to visit Summer Newman Abbott (Hunter King) in Italy.
