The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, October 9, 2019, features Victor getting an ultimatum from Victoria and Adam challenging from Phyllis. Plus, Theo got some advice from Mariah while Summer gave some to Kyle.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) told Billy (Jason Thompson) she wouldn’t give up on Newman Enterprises and gave Victor (Eric Braeden) an ultimatum: Either he makes her CEO, or their relationship is over. (Clearly, she’s not so good with work/personal life boundaries.)

She will quit Newman and start her own company, where she will spend every day working to bring Victor down. That sounds healthy!

Victor was impressed by his daughter’s crazy behavior and told her she will be the new CEO. No one can say Victoria had anything handed to her. She worked her way to the top. She got a high school diploma and was handed a job by her dad. What’s more hard-working than that?

Five Card Stud

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) challenged Adam (Mark Grossman) to come back to Genoa City. He didn’t want to. She and Adam played a game of poker and Phyllis won. Now he has to do what she says. Phyllis said Adam had Victor right where he wanted him. Adam said he’s out of the revenge business. Cane (Daniel Goddard) showed up and remarked on the interesting pairing.

The Young and the Restless Recap: Tell Me About It

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) told Theo (Tyler Johnson) she knew Devon (Bryton James) fired him and gave him some life advice. Because she’s an expert now.

Lola supported Kyle in his battle with Billy. Kyle told Summer he knows what he wanted, but wasn’t sure if he’d get it. Summer (Hunter King) urged Kyle (Michael Mealor) to focus less on work and more on his life with Lola (Sasha Calle). Because she’s an expert now. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
