The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, January 13, 2021, is a litany of knowing what’s best for other people, as Sharon and Nick decide Faith should see a therapist, Devon decides Amanda should pursue a relationship with Naya, and Lily decides she now knows who Billy is better than he does.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Sharon (Sharon Case) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) return from their honeymoon. Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is fine and happy to see them. She goes upstairs to do her math homework. Sharon decides that Faith is being too positive. She obviously isn’t fine.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) admits that Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) figured out that the last two times when Faith got drunk, it was when Jordan was around. They worry that Faith is trying to impress her older friend.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) also reveals that Faith yelled at Adam (Mark Grossman) when she ran into him in public. Sharon decides that Faith needs to see a therapist. Nick wonders what if she doesn’t want to. Sharon doesn’t care. Faith doesn’t want to. Sharon doesn’t care.
Keep Your Options Open
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) sobs about her meeting with Naya. Devon manages to change the topic to himself and about his relationships with Kay (Jeanne Cooper) and Tucker (Stephen Nichols).
He admits it wasn’t perfect, but he still wants Amanda to take the chance with her own biological family. He then mentions that he doesn’t love the Lily and Billy relationship, either. Why shouldn’t they receive the benefit of his feedback?
Chapter Two
Lily (Christel Khalil) decides she can forgive Billy (Jason Thompson) for sleeping with Summer (Hunter King). But she wants him to be less reckless. And less sarcastic. Billy promises to be a good boy from now on. Lily asks how he would change her. Billy says she’s perfect. But she could be more spontaneous. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
