The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, May 29 finishes up classic villains week with Lauren’s lookalike coming face to face with Lauren and Michael, while Kevin tries to save Jana, Jack confronts Emily (or is it Patti?), and Amber bickers with Daniel. The episode originally aired on April 27, 2010.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Now that Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) is no longer obsessing over Lauren (Tracey Bregman), it’s her sister, Sarah’s turn. And Sarah doesn’t play. She gets plastic surgery so she can look just like Lauren and cast aspersions on her character. Michael (Christian J. Le Blanc) believed his wife was losing her mind. But now he and best pal, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) are speeding to Lauren’s rescue.
Except she’s not alone. Lauren is handcuffed to Kevin’s (Greg Rikaart) girlfriend, Jana (Emily O’Brien), and he’s riding to the rescue, as well.
Not that Sarah is alone, either. She’s got niece Daisy and nephew Ryder on her side. But everyone is blaming everybody else for who is the real bad guy.
Kevin shoots Sarah and wants to take off, but Lauren begs him to warn Michael and Phyllis. Sarah pops up again and goes after Lauren, while Daisy holds Kevin and Jana at gunpoint.
Truth Teller
Jack (Peter Bergman) thinks Emily (Stacey Haiduk) is really his ex-wife, Patti. He thinks this because Patti had previously had plastic surgery and passed herself off as her doctor, Emily. The plastic surgeons in Genoa City do REALLY good work. Emily denies. Jack isn’t sold. And he has Patti’s diary to prove it.
Fault Lines
While Daniel defends Daisy, claiming that she isn’t bad, it’s her brother, Ryder (Wilson Bethel) who was behind everything, Amber (Adrienne Franz) would rather discuss why Daniel hopped into bed with Daisy the moment Amber moved out. Can this not wait until people are no longer being held hostage? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
